"Hear, hear," Shiranui replied.
"It'll be a valuable asset for the next gym at least," replied Shiranui.
Shiranui carefully unbound some workers with one of the swords that made up Yoto. He was raring to leave the Power Plant and get back to some training for the Lumiose Gym.
"I'll take it from here," Shiranui answered, "Torikumu, I choose you!" He sent his Hawlucha out to take on Mightyena. "Torikumu, Karate Chop!"
"Mightyena, Swagger!" The Hawlucha charged at Mightyena and delivered a sharp chop to Mightyena, causing a lot of damage. Mightyena strutted from side to side, sending Torikumu into a rage.
"Time for your signature move, Torikumu! Flying Press!"
"Mightyena, Assurance!" Despite the confusion Torikumu suffered, the Hawlucha took off into the air and got into a belly flop position, falling towards the floor. Torikumu slammed his whole body on Mightyena and the force of the attack was enough to render it knocked out. Torikumu counted to three, slapping the floor as he counted and on the third count got off Mightyena and flew back towards Shiranui.

"You just got schooled!" Shiranui taunted. Torikumu gave Ryan his version of the okay sign.
Shiranui returned Higitsune and followed the others, wondering what Team Flare was trying to achieve.
Shiranui nodded and entered the next room. A grunt spotted him and sent out a Croagunk. Shiranui sent Higitsune out and a Psyshock from the Braixen knocked Croagunk out in one hit. Higitsune started glowing and grew to a height just shorter than Shiranui's before the glow subsided. Standing where a Braixen once stood was a Delphox and Shiranui mentally promised to give Higitsune a reward. "Delphox, the Fox Pokémon and the evolved form of Braixen. Using psychic power, it generates a fiery vortex of 5,400°F, incinerating foes swept into this whirl of flame." The grunt sent a Scraggy out and Shiranui stood silent while Higitsune pulled a fiery stick out and pointed it at Scraggy. The flame on the tip of the stick whooshed out into a vortex that left Scraggy knocked out from a critical hit.

"Alright, buddy, tell us everything you know about why you're doing this!" Shiranui commanded to the grunt.
"I'm not telling you a thing!" the grunt replied.
"Higitsune," Shiranui called.
"You got it, master," the Delphox acknowledged, peering into the grunt's mind. Sifting through tidbits of information irrelevant to the Power Plant operation, Higitsune got a look on the grunt's knowledge of the operation and found it to only be the basics. The Delphox relayed the information to Shiranui and his friends whilst updating their mental maps.
"If they're trying to hijack a power plant then whatever they're cooking up requires as much power as the entire region would consume," Shiranui thought out loud, "Nonetheless once we take the Plant back, those Team Rocket wannabes will have a Wailord-sized setback to their plans. They'll most likely have Poison or Dark-type Pokémon so stay on your guard. I'll have Higitsune update our mental maps periodically as these guys will move around or try to ambush us."
"Wouldn't be the first time a Pokémon followed and saved you," Shiranui remarked, "Thanks for saving Liam, Sandshrew."
Shiranui gave his Braixen a rewarding pet before returning him.
"Higitsune, come on out," Shiranui whispered, letting his Braixen back out, "Higitsune, we'd like to avoid the bad people in red. Can you detect them?"
"I certainly can," Higitsune answered. The Braixen's eyes started to glow as Higitsune scanned the Power Plant for Team Flare members, relaying their locations telepathically to the trainers.
