"I don't have any statements to add for the record, but I can inform you that Anubis' Poison Jab will wear off within one hour," answered Shiranui.
"I have to hand it to Yveltal for at least giving you a chance, Liam," commented Shiranui, "For now we should stick around. They may want statements."
"I agree, Liam," replied Shiranui, "We've seen what Yveltal did to Lysandre's Gyarados and I'd rather not have that happen to anyone or anything else."
Shiranui agreed and after making his way to the Pokémon Center, he had his Pokémon healed and his team adjusted.
"Well, scratch my theory," commented Shiranui, "I thought Looker tipped them off, but it turned out to be your rival."
"I don't know either," replied Shiranui, "I have one theory, but I'm not sure it's him."
"I say we should," answered Shiranui, "I don't think we'd want to be here when our orderly friend starts destroying the ultimate weapon."
"Well…we just saved humanity," Shiranui stated with astonishment.
Unlike Yveltal, Xerneas was barely holding together. "Xerneas, you don't look like you're fit for battle," stated Shiranui, "Let me help you. Titania, use Heal Pulse on Xerneas!" He sent his Gardevoir out and Titania used her psychic powers to heal the Life Pokémon. Xerneas was surprised at Shiranui's actions and used its Fairy Aura to communicate with Titania. The Gardevoir linked her mind with Shiranui's.
"You healed me when you could have caught me at my most vulnerable state?" Xerneas asked.
"If I did, I'd be no better than Lysandre," answered Shiranui.
"That is not true," replied Xerneas, "The way one looks at life can be seen in how they battle. The fiery one battles with only the eradication of everything he deems unworthy in mind whereas you; I can see in your Gardevoir's aura that you strive for harmony and balance in the world. I will not mind being by your side in battle."
"Well, in that case, Master Ball, go!" Shiranui threw his Master Ball at Xerneas and with a smile on its cervine face, the Life Pokémon was drawn in. The Master Ball pinged shut after only five seconds and Titania came over with the Master Ball in her hands.
"That Xerneas really makes you think," the Gardevoir commented.
"It sure does," replied Shiranui, "I just hope Liam can calm Yveltal down."
Shiranui nodded and went with Liam. "We must free them from captivity! Take your pick, Liam," he said.
