"Numeru, use Attract on Ivysaur!" At that point it started raining, making Blastoise's Hydro Cannon more powerful. Numeru took the hit, but survived the attack due to resistance. The Sliggoo started glowing and grew tall whilst also gaining legs. The glow subsided to reveal a Goodra that winked at Ivysaur, sending hearts flying. Shiranui knew the attack was likely to work as like all starter Pokémon, Ivysaur was likely to be male.

"Numeru, intercept that Razor Leaf and use Ice Beam on Ivysaur once more!" Shiranui's Sliggoo stood her ground and took Ivysaur's Razor Leaf. Her Sap Sipper ability made her immune to the attack. Numeru fired another Ice Beam at Ivysaur.
"Numeru, I choose you!" Shiranui sent out his Sliggoo. "Numeru, Ice Beam at Ivysaur!" The Sliggoo fired a lightning-like bolt of ice energy at Ivysaur.
"I sure would," answered Shiranui.
Shiranui nodded, taking the umbrella he was offered.

"I have wondered why Goodra were so rare," replied Shiranui, "Turns out a Sliggoo can only evolve while it's naturally raining."

"Probably to heal our Pokémon and that would just about be it," answered Shiranui, "Especially after that move Zygarde used on Sylveon."
