"Mine is too," replied Shiranui, letting his mind drift and remembering the highlights of their travels through Kalos.

Shiranui entered the room and had Yoto rest against a bedside table, reminding the Aegislash to be careful not to cut the carpet. He removed his gear and flopped onto a bed. "What a day," he said to no-one in particular.

Shiranui nodded and the duo made their way to their room. He pondered what the competition would be like.

Shiranui tossed his into the air and what emerged was an Electrike. "Electrike, the Lightning Pokémon. Electrike runs faster than the human eye can follow. The friction from running is converted into electricity, which is then stored in this Pokémon's fur." The Electrike crept up on Shiranui while he listened to his Pokédex and zapped him with a small jolt of static electricity.
"You're a playful one, Electrike," commented Shiranui, recalling his new friend.

Shiranui's scarf was a similar flame pattern, but his had a Ninetales on it. "How did she know what one of my favourites were?" Shiranui asked. He hadn't thought about what Pokémon the Blackthorn City Nurse Joy caught for him.

"Looks like our old friend Delibird is here," Shiranui remarked.

"So you managed to surpass your own father in the Battle Chateau," commented Shiranui, "Congratulations."

"I caught two new friends and saw something truly marvelous," answered Shiranui.
