"That was a close one, Liam," commented Shiranui.
"Xeimei, Moonblast!" The Xerneas fired a bright beam of moonlight that blew the Sludge Bomb apart and was headed for Goodra.
"Psychic!" Xeimei unleashed a mental onslaught at Jiraiya. Since the Greninja was a Poison type, the attack would especially be potent.
"Misty Terrain!" Xeimei covered the field in mist just in time to receive another super effective hit. The mist made both Xeimei and Jiraiya immune to status effects. The Xerneas recovered more HP.
Jiraiya's Poison Jab connected for a super effective hit. "Xeimei, Ingrain!" The Xerneas spread some roots out and started healing itself gradually.
"Psyshock!" As Jiraiya charged in to deliver a poisonous blow, Xeimei unleashed a powerful wave of psychic energy.
"Protect once more!" Majin couldn't conjure another green shield and was blasted by Jiraiya's attack. The Hoopa was left knocked out. "Majin, return; Xeimei, I choose you!" Shiranui switched out the fallen djinn and sent out the legendary Xerneas.
"Protect!" Majin conjured a green shield in time for the dark energy to bounce right off.
