Shiranui had a hunch as to who would fill Liam's blank spots. He already knew who would take Kakureru's Healing Wish; he just had to wait.

"Healing Wish!" Kakureru was focused enough to release all her energy and stamina in the form of a large orb of energy. The Mega Latias fell to the ground and reverted to her old form, dodging the Ice Beam. "This is a huge risky gambit I'm doing," Shiranui thought to himself.

Deoxys recovered more health as Kakureru's third Outrage attack connected. The Mega Latias was left confused.

Kakureru's attack connected and Deoxys did not get as much damage thanks to the form change. The Mega Latias turned and swooped in for a third attack.

Deoxys recovered its health as Kakureru turned around and swooped in for another attack.

Kakureru was blasted, but pressed on with her attack.

Deoxys was struck by lightning and thanks to the Skill Swap, recovered some health. "Kakureru, Outrage! Mega Ring activate!" Shiranui activated his Mega Ring and Kakureru was enveloped in the glow of Mega Evolution. The Glow subsided to reveal Kakureru looking like a mixture of her regular form and an upside-down F-22 Raptor coloured lavender where her red downy fur used to be. Kakureru zoomed at Deoxys with a berserker rage and with Deoxys in its Attack Forme, Shiranui knew it would only survive one or two hits from a raging Mega Latias.

"Kakureru, Thunder!" Kakureru took the not-very-effective hit and laughed off the damage. The Latias conjured some ball lightning and threw it into the sky, intending to hit Deoxys with a lightning bolt.

Kakureru flew so fast she couldn't dodge the hearts in time and was thus infatuated with Ohm. Her attraction caused her to hesitate and thus stop the Zen Headbutt. "Kakureru, Roar!" The Latias did manage to let out a loud roar, intending to remove the source of her attraction.
