"Zoro, use Grass Knot!" Zoro switched guises after landing and donned a Breloom illusion. He conjured a grass rope intending to trip Hydro over.

"Counter with Focus Blast!" Zoro swapped guises, donning a Blaziken illusion before firing a powerful bright cyan beam in mid-air. The attacks met and Zoro's attack was slowly pushing Hydro's attack back.

"Zoro, jump on Hydro's shell, make like a ballerina and show off your Captivate!" The Zoroark jumped into the air, donned a Gardevoir illusion and landed on top of the spinning shell. Zoro used the shell's spin to show off some pirouettes while showing off his Captivate.

"Zoro, it's ninja time!" Black smoke and lots of Unown-Z came out of Zoro's ball and formed into Shiranui's Zoroark. Zoro was still feeling a rush from defeating Steel Mech in battle. "Zoro, start with your namesake Night Slash!" The Zoroark made a Z with three Night Slash attacks and used Fling to throw the attack at Hydro.

"Zoro, counter with a Nasty Plot/Flamethrower combo!" The Zoroark changed guises and now wore a Kantonian Ninetales illusion before boosting his power through his nasty thoughts and breathing out a bright yellow flame at point blank range. "If I'm lucky,
Steel Mech will get burnt from the attack and with the burn comes a weakening of physical Attack power," Shiranui mused.

"Zoro, use Grass Knot!" The Zoroark donned a Breloom guise and conjured a rope of grass around one of Steel Mech's forelimbs, aiming to trip the Mega Metagross over and use its nearly-one-tonne weight against it.
