Shiranui saw what was happening and hid out of sight. He sent Titania out and had the Gardevoir Teleport into the cage and covertly use Heal Pulse on the Charizard hostage. "Smaug, your mother will be in good hands," Titania assured over a mind link she established with Smaug, "Face your fear and rip your enemies a new one!"

"Smaug, wait!" Shiranui shouted, chasing after the Charmeleon while being prepared for any unexpected twists.
Shiranui called out his Honchkrow and had him assist Pidgeot.
"Before we charge in, we need aerial reconnaissance," stated Shiranui, "Liam, you have your Pidgeot and I have Kyouchou for that."
Shiranui jumped out of the way, causing the Rockets to end up grovelling instead. "You can save the water works until after our mission is complete," he said before addressing Sherlock, "Sherlock, are there any Venusaur around here?"
"We'll help get your Pokémon back," Shiranui finished in a reluctant tone, giving the Rockets the 'I'm watching you' gesture.
"I agree," replied Shiranui, "They may be enemies, but an even bigger one is at large and at close proximity. In case the Rockets try to stab us in the back, search them for anything that could give them the potential to do so."
"Patience, Smaug," Shiranui interjected, "Let them answer." He pulled out his smartphone and started typing a message to Looker.
Shiranui spotted the pair and by instinct, reached for a Poké Ball until he noticed the Rockets' injuries. "Liam, these two look as if a whole horde of Pokémon attacked them," he whispered, "Got any ideas on a course of action?"
"Both Liam and I have a few restored fossils," replied Shiranui, thinking about his Omanyte, Aerodactyl and Tyrunt, "We have considered Sinnoh as our next place to train after we're done with the Battle Frontier; as well as Unova and Alola."
