"Turn on the Charm!" Bakeru wowed the audience as he used Charm to weaken Dragonite's Attack even further before being wrapped up in an Iron Tail that did minor damage.
"Counter with Play Rough!" Bakeru wasn't affected by the Dragon Rush, but he did use the moment to latch a couple of shadowy claws onto Dragonite and do some roughhousing with his tail.
"Bakeru, Charm!" The Mimikyu gazed at Dragonite, looking as adorable as it could be before receiving an electrified fist that caused his "head" to fall limply to the side. Dragonite suffered a harsh drop to his Attack stat and both coordinators lost some points.
Shiranui sent his Mimikyu out in response. Black smoke poured out of Bakeru's Ultra Ball and coalesced to form the Mimikyu, which was one order of magnitude smaller than the Dragonite.
Shiranui's battle with Drew was similar to the one he had with May in the last Contest as both coordinators traded blows to each other's points. Bakeru's Disguise was busted one minute in, but the Mimikyu in that time had given Roserade a burn and a Curse. Roserade threw a Shadow Ball and Bakeru cast a Destiny bond on the Roserade before bracing himself for a hit. The Shadow Ball struck home and Bakeru was down. The Mimikyu glowed with a crimson aura and Roserade fainted as well. The judges ruled Bakeru as the winner as he instigated the Destiny Bond.
Shiranui used his new friend Bakeru and the Mimikyu swiftly floored his opponent's Gabite.
"Kage would be proud of that one," commented Shiranui to himself.

Shiranui was contestant #9. He sent out his Manectric. Manectric used Electric Terrain to electrify the stage and Electro Ball to send ball lightning floating around the stage. Electricity was arcing between the Electro Ball and the Electric Terrain. Manectric had Mega Evolved before using Eerie Impulse to dazzle the audience and then finishing the appeal with a Discharge that miraculously didn't overload the electrical equipment.

"Your appeal was electrifying."
"Mega Manectric is remarkable!"
"Your Manectric has exceeded expectations."

Shiranui arrived in the green room and went to work polishing his Poké Balls and preparing their respective Ball Capsules.
The next morning, Shiranui woke up to see the main zipper on his bag open on its own and a Mimikyu jump out. It had been stowing away in Shiranui's backpack since the Battle Dome. Shiranui scanned the stowaway on his Pokédex. "Mimikyu, the Disguise Pokémon. Its actual appearance is unknown. A scholar who saw what was under its rag was overwhelmed by terror and died from the shock." He let Titania out and had the Gardevoir establish a mind link.
"You're a long way from home, Mimikyu," commented Shiranui.
"I longed to see the world and get close to people and other Pokémon so I stowed away on a couple of ferries and hid away in the building where a lot of them were gathered to watch stage performances. When I saw you compete, I followed you to the dome near the cool-looking tower, hid away in your bag and slept during the day happy that I was in the company of really good people."
"I'm impressed with how you managed to escape detection from your home all the way to here so I have a proposition," Shiranui offered, "If you let me catch you, I can help you develop your stealth skills."
"You didn't even have to ask," Mimikyu accepted, pulling an Ultra Ball out from under its rag, tapping it to get it ready for capture and tapping it again to draw itself in. The ball immediately pinged shut and Shiranui now had a new friend.
"It goes to show what lengths anyone would go to when they have the determination to meet their goal," commented Titania. Shiranui nodded in agreement as he named his new friend Bakeru.
Shiranui was thinking about what he'd do for the contest while his Pokémon healed.
