With Yoto in his Blade Forme, his defences were weak when Azriel's Shadow Ball hit. The Aegislash reverted to his Shield Forme and fell over. "Aegislash is unable to battle! The winner is Alakazam!" the referee declared.
"Yoto, return; Sapphire, I choose you!" Shiranui switched out his downed Aegislash and sent out his Sableye.

Azriel's attack struck home, inflicting major damage on Yoto. Yoto made his blade thinner, increasing his Speed stat sharply. "Yoto, Shadow Claw!" Putting his Speed boost to work, Yoto changed to his Blade Forme and shot out towards Azriel. Six ghostly branches sprouted from Yoto's blade, turning the Aegislash into a shichishito.

Yoto landed tip first at the epicentre of Titan's Explosion unfazed not only because of the protective King's Shield, but also his immunity to Normal-type moves; while Sunawani's Stealth Rock trap did their damage to Azriel.

"Yoto, use King's Shield!" Yoto was caught by Titan, but the Aegislash wasn't fazed as he reverted to his Shield Forme and braced for the imminent Explosion.

Yoto's shield blocked the attack and the Aegislash took no damage thanks to the protection granted from King's Shield. "Yoto, use Flash Cannon!" Yoto shifted to his Blade Forme and gathered the light glistening from his blade into energy before firing it from his tip.

"Wide Guard!" Yoto held his cloths horizontally to each side and protected himself from the Earthquake. "Now, Flash Cannon!" Yoto gathered all the light glistening off his blade and fired it at Titan from his tip.

Yoto dropped to the ground, dodging the attack. "Yoto, Iron Head!" Shiranui called. Yoto changed to his Blade Forme and like an arrow from a bow, shot towards Nissa.

Sunawani was blasted for a hit and the damage was heavy. "Sunawani, take a good rest," Shiranui called, recalling his Krookodile, "Yoto, en garde!" He sent out his shiny Aegislash.
