I'm aware it's a busy time for all of us, but it's been nearly two weeks since someone posted.
"Use Quick Attack!" The Water Shuriken zeroed in on Niwatori, but the Mega Blaziken vanished from sight a moment before the watery stars landed any hits. Niwatori reappeared behind Greninja poised to deliver a strike.
"Counter with Vacuum Wave!" The Mega Blaziken sent vacuums to break up the watery stars. His Speed Boost ability triggered for the second time, making Niwatori faster than Greninja.
Zoro struggled to get up and eventually managed to succeed. "Zoro, return; Niwatori, I choose you!" Shiranui recalled his Zoroark and sent his Blaziken out. "Niwatori, Mega Evolve and use Earthquake!" Shiranui activated the keystone on his Z-Power Ring and Niwatori let off a bright glow as he became a Mega Blaziken. With a sumo stomp, Niwatori set the battlefield shaking.
I may be the first of our little group to see the release of Sword and Shield (at 9:00 am USEST), but I won't be buying any of them – too many disappointments for my liking.
Both of the Zoroarks' courtship rituals were successful as they became infatuated with the other. "Zoro, U-turn!" Zoro fought his infatuation and charged in for a hit-and-run attack.
Shiranui had the ear twitch moment when he heard Maribella's rambling and noted to himself to follow up on the lead after he defeated her in battle. "Zoro, Attract!" Zoro dodged the attack and showed off his illusions as he performed his species' courtship ritual.
Niwatori was hit by the point-blank attack, but did not receive as much damage as Maribella expected. It was soon apparent as to why when Greninja's attack revealed the Zoroark for what he really was. "Now, Zoro, Focus Blast!" Zoro quickly fired a bright beam of energy in retaliation at point-blank range.
"I took a peek at the chaotic mind of Tapu Koko and I saw a vision it had sensed of the guardian deities performing a ritual at a mountaintop altar," answered Saisei, "It's likely flying around Alola and rounding up the others."
