"Liam, do you want to lead the way?" asked Shiranui.
"I'm for it," answered Shiranui, letting Titania out, "Safety in numbers."
"You had nothing to apologise for," replied Shiranui, "You simply didn't see us."
"We got here around an hour ago," answered Shiranui, waiting for his Pokémon to finish healing.
Shiranui was eager to get to a Pokémon Centre to heal his two Pokémon.
Shiranui got into several battles and from them, both his Pokémon had learned a few attacks.
Shiranui rejoined Liam soon after the latter caught Mankey.
Shiranui was looking around at various wild Pokémon battles taking place. Fushigi called out when he spotted something. "Fushigi, what did you see?" he asked before looking over at a Ralts that showed up. He opened his Pokédex and scanned the newcomer. "Ralts, the Feeling Pokémon. It is highly attuned to the emotions of people and Pokémon. It hides if it senses hostility." Shiranui noticed from the Pokédex that it was a Psychic-type with the Synchronise ability. He felt a sensation in his mind and noticed a glow coming from under Ralts' hair where he deduced the eyes were. Ralts was reading Shiranui's mind and saw various images of Ecruteak City including a memory of Ho-oh taking off from the Bell Tower.
"I like you," Shiranui heard in his mind. He saw Ralts run up and touch one of his Poké Balls, letting itself get captured. "That was a little weird," he commented, earning a nod of agreement from Fushigi. On his Pokédex, he saw the Ralts was female and decided to name her Titania.

Laim stated "the more the merrier." He then walked over to Shirauni and introduced himself.
"I'm Shiranui and I'd like to join your group."
Shiranui was flying east towards Pallet Town on his father's Charizard. The dragon-like Pokémon swooped towards the lab and when his altitude was low enough, Shiranui jumped off and landed in a kneeling position. "Thanks Hokage, see you later!" he said after getting up. Hokage let off an acknowledging roar and banked back towards Ecruteak City.
When Shiranui entered the lab, an aspiring Pokémon watcher named Tracy Sketchit led him to Prof. Oak. "Hello there," the professor greeted, "What starter would you like?"
"I'll pick Bulbasaur please," Shiranui answered.
"Excellent choice," replied Prof. Oak, "Here's your Pokédex and five Poké Balls. Good luck on your journey."
Shiranui left the lab with a smile and looked around at the congregation of people, seeing a battle here and there. "Fushigi, come on out!" He let his starter Pokémon out for the very first time and the Bulbasaur looked over at Shiranui. Fushigi, after a while, ran at Shiranui and jumped into his trainer's arms. "We have some great times ahead," stated Shiranui as he got with Fushigi in tow and made his way to the Route 1 exit.
