<Snipped quote by January>

That's how I took @KOgaming comment.

I don't think Arthur's range is infinite?

So what happens when the helicopter flies out of his range?
<Snipped quote by KOgaming>

But if his character doesn't believe in magic would he actively use it like that?

Wait, is the implication here that the helicopter's blades are magical blades Arthur summoned or am I reading that wrong?

Took a while, but I finally got Nico's theme pinned down. It just took a lot of dungeon roulettes to hit a nice one that fit him, haha.

@Scio

No no, of course. Mikhail can believe what he wants. I apologize if I ever implied anything otherwise--it wasn't my intention.

It's the matter of "what Mikhail believes" versus "knowing for sure this is an objective reality" that really rustles my jimmies. I'm probably not quite distinguishing this properly, but that was the core of my issue with the post.

Regardless, thanks for clearing that up!
@Scio

Sorry, I wasn't phrasing my issue with the post properly, but what you said is exactly my complaint. The way the post was written states the information as an absolute fact when Mikhail should rightly not have enough knowledge at the moment to confirm this.

I mentioned that I have no problem with Mikhail suspecting, guessing, surmising, concluding, etc. so long as it's a character's guess based on IC actions. Thus, I was on the fence about the matter as a whole.

It's not horribly metagaming, I agree, @Riffus Maximus. But the narration gives Mikhail information he shouldn't rightly know with objective certainty, which bothers me greatly.

Anyway, sorry for the trouble, guys. Thanks for putting up with it!
@Letter Bee

I am splitting hairs, but I think this is justified before something like this happens again in a more significant fashion.
@Letter Bee

Just because a rune glows does not mean Mikhail can immediately know with 100% certainty that this guy is the cause.

I don't recall Donovan standing there and explaining to anyone how his ability works. How is Mikhail sure it isn't some random person elsewhere causing it and Don's rune isn't something entirely different? How does Mikhail know Donovan isn't just a giant flashlight?

Edit: Alternatively, how is Mikhail sure it's Don emitting the aura and not Nico since both simply use glowing sigils to indicate effect?

Anyway, I said I'm trusting @Scio's call on that.
@Letter Bee

Also, Mikhail is suddenly way too sure that the unnatural calm is from Donovan. He can highly suspect, or he can surmise this after Don starts telling everyone to shut up, but to immediately know Don's the cause with all the shit going around?

That's iffy, at best, to me.

@Scio can make the last call on that, but I'm on the fence about it, personally.
@Letter Bee

Mikhail does not know that Nico's magic amplifies/diminishes others' magic. Please edit that part of the post.

As for whether Nico cares all that much about what Mikhail does given that Nico defied his own hatred of Donovan to do this, I'll let you know soon.
@banjoanjo

Yeah, that looks fine. At least on my screen, even the slightly different shades of font color available here still look distinct.
