Okay, due to my brain hurting and fandom saturation (mostly caused by me), this will be my last 40K RP for quite some time. That being said, this has been an idea I've been mulling over for quite some time, and is probably the most straightforward in terms of execution.
Here it is;
I got tired of everything being Imperium and even human-centric, therefore I got to thinking about other races, and finally came up with this!
A small group of players (depending on interest) RPing as a cadre of Kroot mercenaries under the watchful eye(s) of a Shaper.
Each Kroot would begin at the same level, except maybe one more veteran one, with the same equipment and so forth - essentially fresh bodies going out into the galaxy in search of DNA and payment.
The narrative/RP would follow their exploits and journey through the cosmos, decisions made, and the like.
Perhaps the most interesting thing, and the reason I decided to put this in the 'Advanced' section at all, is because - much like an Eldar based RP - it requires players to get into a completely alien mindset, complete with customs, culture and the like. On the other hand, as the lore on the Kroot is relatively scarce but set in stone nonetheless, it gives options for variety and especially in terms of progression among our people.
Now I've no idea if anyone will join this, or even show interest in it, but if you've read this far, and like the idea of RPing a carnivorous Native American bipedal killer chicken in space...then sign right here!
