@Ms Ravenwinter@ErmineI've DM'd campaigns before, so I feel knowledgeable enough to do so, but there are a few things that are holding me back at the moment.

1) I'm new here. That might not mean much in this group since I've been working to help out, and you all know that, but I still want to get my feet wet first.

2) I've only DM'd live. I need to see how this will go on PBP, since a lot of things feel like they could go very differently.

3) I just booted up my FF13 RP (link in sig), and need to get that off the ground.

4) Real life things are a bit crazy at the moment, and because of that, I recently had to end my live game.

Maybe in a while, I might be willing to give it a go, but for right now, I don't think it's a good idea. I need to be able to commit 100% to something, and I don't feel like I could yet.

I'm a bit interested... but sadly I think I might be too busy to join.

Some questions: What will you have for posting requirements? What kind of story are we looking at? Is it going to be Slice of Life like Season 1, or more like Season 4 with lots of war going on? I think answering these questions might help inform others if they're interested or not.

Backstory/Personality. Cid is known to be intelligent, good-natured and dutiful. He lives to see his creations used to help improve the lives of people and loathes to see the destruction that technology has caused under the banner of the Sanctum (Copied from Wiki).

Squad Role: Mechanic. Cid builds and maintains most of the AMP technology that the squad uses.

Description: Biggs is a slim youth with swept-back brown hair and a bandana tied round his forehead. He wears an olive shirt and green three-quarter trousers, brown boots with silver fasteners round the ankle, brown gloves, and two belts: one black and one brown, the latter of which has a pouch on his left hip.

Wedge, in contrast, is a self-confessed "roly-poly," enjoying food. He has black hair held back with a red bandana, and wears a beige shirt, blue shorts, brown boots and shoulder pads, with a bandolier across his chest and grenades on the belt of his trousers. (Copied from Wiki).

Backstory/Personality. Biggs and Wedge are good people who care about those around them. Wedge, being the weakest-seeming of the group, looks up to Cid, and blames the tastiness of Breshan cuisine for being chubby. Biggs, meanwhile, maintains a cooler demeanor, but tries to not be too harsh. Both try to emulate Cid’s work ethic in everything they do. (Modified from Wiki).

Squad Role: Supplier. Biggs and Wedge founded B&W Outfitters, an underground supply chain that provides simple accessories to keep the group safe. Wedge generally runs the shop and Biggs builds or collects the supplies. Their sales pitch is as follows: “City life getting you down? Answer the call of the wild! With B&W gear to protect you, a trek through the lowlands is a walk in the park. Why not leave the hustle and bustle behind, and return to nature. It could be just the vacation your soul needs.”

Description: The squad all works together, each with a different role. They answer to Rikken and can communicate over long distances. They will only journey in groups of three, and the rest stay in camp or can progress on simple missions. The squad follows different mechanics than the party. They cannot equip Accessories or new Weapons, nor can they use Techniques. In exchange, the squad has excellent versatility. Each squad member has their own set of stats and abilities to match their role. Most gain more abilities in their single role than normal to make up for the lack of techniques and equipment.

Backstory/Personality. The squad was a group of Guardian Corps that were fighting against Cocoon soldiers when the party encountered them in Bresha. Rikken and Maurice were separated from the rest of the squad when the power of the l'Cie fell upon them. Suddenly, they found themselves alone against a host of enemies. Rikken is generally the only one to talk directly with the party, as he is the squad leader. The squad are generally respectful of authority and friends, although each member has their own quirks and personalities.

HP: 4 - 4 - 6 - 6 - 5 - 6. STR: 6 - 2 - 1 - 2 - 1 - 5. MAG: 2 - 6 - 5 - 4 - 6 - 1.

Weapon: The squad shares a scimitar that has been forged with a special AMP process that responds to each wielder in various ways.

Description: 5' 4", Lean, but muscular. Brown eyes, long dark brown hair, dark skin. Something that seems counter to his confidence and upbringing is his oddly manicured hands and fantastic sense of fashion. When not in combat, Julian dons his tophat and likes to kick back. He is also left-handed. He carries a fashionable cane, but it doesn’t appear he needs it to walk.

Backstory/Personality. Julian was always smart, usually to the point of getting himself into trouble. However, due to his family’s upbringing, he could never afford the more expensive universities in Eden and Palumpolum. Instead, Julian was relegated to a subpar law school and joined a law firm as a file clerk where his talents were rarely recognized. After the attack on Cocoon, Julian immediately quit his job and joined the Guardian Corps. His talents were quickly recognized, and Julian was promoted to the lieutenant of a non-combat squad. After learning some damning information about the Sanctum, Julian and his squad turned rogue and began feeding information to both sides. When forced into combat, Julian leverages his size and speed to catch his opponents off-guard. He might act over-confident in fights, but he cares deeply about those who work for him.

Weapon: Canes (part of the Wands category). Initial weapon is an oak cane trimmed with an ornate gold-leaf pattern.

Squad Role: Intelligence Officer. As part of his previous job, Julian developed several contacts with those who generally are considered the scum of society: hackers, black-market dealers, etc. He has an intricate network of intel that has never steered him wrong... yet.
