Oh, I think I know where the confusion started from.

The five marines are above the main entrance of the base, standing on the roof. They are hiding behind a small wall, it's height only reaching up to someone's waist. So they're basicly crouching behind it. There is a cannon on the left of the small wall, and one on the right.

Sorry, I didn't describe that bit very well.

So just to make sure, cause I was a little confused about that actually. The gate is the entrance to the building itself right? There's not like some courtyard or whatever correct? I made the plan assuming this is all part of that cube of concrete. Or is is the main entrance gate like part of a wall around the complex? Little clarification would help a lot.

Yeah it's the entrance to the building itself.

That's really all there is to it, it's just a cube of concrete, with a main gate at the front, some trees nearby and some small windows on the sides of the building. That's how it looks like from the outside.

Um. Well. I guess you could say they went into an apple on an apple tree somewhere on the island. Since the forest is so thick though, you won't be able to find it.

Would be like looking for a needle in a haystack, essentially.

Random question: What happened to the devil fruits of our late captain and doctor? Did the marines or villagers take them?

I thought their devil fruits appear somewhere else in the world. They should regrow on those special Devil fruit trees somewhere in the Grand Line.

At least I believe that's how it works. They never really gave THAT much insight on it. Doffy only got Ace's devil fruit because he has 'connections' and Blackbeard managed to get Whitebeard's because he was able to steal it from his dieing body...somehow.

There may be some means to extract someone's devil fruit from a dieing Devil Fruit user's corpse that everyone can do, but I don't think that's been shown yet. We didn't see how Blackbeard did it since he put a curtain on Whitebeard.

Appearance

Personality: Croma is the type of person who will decide to do one thing and never notice how long it's taken for her to do, days even weeks can pass by before she notices how long it's been as her body doesn't register the passage of time properly. Focused and diligent Croma is not without many faults, when she does get interested in one particular task she will forget to eat, drink and sleep all together, this leads to her body shutting down out of exhaustion. Because of her past the swordswoman is always ready for a fight years of doing this has caused her bodies natural killing intent to always be present and can be felt by others even when asleep. When around others she can come off as very cold hearted when in reality she for the most part doesn't hear them, this isn't due to a problem hears its just her own thoughts for the most part overshadow any outside interference this combined with her natural case of tunnel vision makes communicating with her an act of labor.

Devil Fruit/ Weapon of expertise: Croma has no devil fruit ability but the weapon she carries around is a Daito Katana around sixty five centimeters long named Kichi or 'Worth', the description for this weapon can only be described as a demon sword. Kichi will not allow anyone to draw it unless the person it's intended to cut down is deemed worthy, it won't even allow the person welding it to swing it properly (other than Croma) unless they are worthy of holding it. Because of this strange phenomena Croma has had to learn to use what she calls the 'Unsheath style' where the sheath itself has been outfitted with a solid metal skeleton that wraps around the sheath for reinforcement and sea prism has been used as a bonding agent for added defense against devil fruit users.

Abilities: Without the crutch of a devil fruit Croma has had to learn to use Haki and thankfully her dojo taught her the basics before she was sent away. Croma is highly proficient when it comes to the color of arms Haki and she is capable of using Mantra albeit to a lesser degree

Okay, your character is good for the most part.

But the abilities...

Since your character does not have a devil fruit, she can gain Armament Haki (Defensive and offensive), but this will only happen way later on during the RP. Observation haki...perhaps to a VERY small degree, which would also only happen way later on. But her armament Haki will be stronger compared to what Devil fruit Users would gain.

Keep in mind that you still have the default strength that Luffy/Zoro/Sanji would have before time skip. You'll be a bit faster and more agile by default compared to Devil Fruit users in the RP, but that's it.

So basicly, no, you can't start off with early Haki. Everything else is okay. If you're fine with starting without Haki, it's fine. I'll allow the seastone on her sword since it's only a very small amount.

So, if you agree to start without Haki and can edit that out of your CS, I'll accept your character.

You still need acceptance from one of the CO-GM's, though.

So here is the plan in a nutshell. Zypha is the only one with essentially grappling hooks so can manage to reach the roof with a little trickery. She will go to the tree closest to the base, of course the tree is too far normally to reach the roof, otherwise that would be a pretty bad base design, and trick the marines into firing at the base of the tree with one of their cannons. The tree will topple over toward the base, on which Zypha will charge up and with a little chain-scythe magic manage to leap on the roof to do battle, allowing your two characters to make it inside without being blow to kingdom come.

Sound like a plan?

Well, keep in mind that the gate is still shut. But since the main entrance is the only way in, one will have to improvise to get through.

Well can't know the layout of the base until the hornets come back so can we either just 'mini' time skip to when they come back to tell Asus and say he's already explained the layout. Otherwise he needs to post again which is a bit of a waste so it would be easier if we just say it has happened already so we can move on to storming the base.

Well he coulda posted that he explained everything and then headed for the base in the same post.

But yeh, I suppose it doesn't matter all that much anyway. I'll time skip that he told you guys about it, then. I edited my last IC post so the entire crew has been informed about the lay out.
