I need to remember to get a new SSD for wilds and other stuff. NGL I'm hating the era of new games hitting +100 GB. Regardless, I'm glad that MH has blown up and no longer niche

It's gonna be gas. Can't wait to see what sort nonsense you can pull of in focus mode with the funlance and hunting horn. Also, looking forward to new monsters to skin and wear as hats.

It's not "disdainful to the mythos". It was just a rad rule of cool type idea that felt right for the genre tone and setting. Like mixing nutella, marshmellow fluff, and peanut butter for a sandwich.

Also I don't know if it's because it's like 3 AM where I'm at. But I'd really like to know you're reasons as to why this tech hierarchy with the mechs is that important for your guys. Because honestly this focusing on statistics would be more appropriate to like tabletop game. Plus it's not like in the mech anime this stuff is ever actually relevant outside of like stuff being posted on the back of the toys or like little factoids in supplementary material for fans.
Right and what does Innue think/say?
Also pray tell what's wrong with exploring the setting as hippie pirate vigilantes and being able to interact and explore from an outsider's perspective?
That's dumb.

We're doing a freeform rp; all it is is description. Plus we got the anime flavor going meaning the only thing it might affect would be the hapless NPCs who are cannon fodder to the heroes/central characters , but between characters they're more or less equal in performance save for some plot event.

Also really why are you guys being so damn pedantic about dumb details in a fricken mecha anime derived game?

Shoot dude, we're like your only players with actual sheets on this thread so far and now you want to seriously argue over this instead of rolling with it and playing the actual game?
Sword's a sword. Doesn't mater what it looks like be it lightsaber or an actual oversized sword, keyblade or telescoping baton with some energy field to make it cut.
Why are we even arguing these story details?

Not like they're gonna really matter in the big picture. The only thing I'm seeing is something of a plothole involving faction dominance and tech but this is pretty anime flavored so it's par for the course.

Anyway for the questions pertaining to my gear:
It's a sword and it cuts stuff end of story much like your lightsaber.

Point defense is just like little turret things that shoot at missiles and stuff and are automated. And of course the generic rifle is an oversized gun that shoots large bullets.

The ATA is just the name we gave to this predecessor bot that served as the framework. It's only purpose is as a plot device that briefly explains the origin of the gimmick for the mechs
Otomos you're finally in after correcting stuff
Parser I misread your points and forgot about hobbies being half the cost.

You're in
Alright wyvern your dude is in, for not even ancient evil can deter the threat of shamefur dispray and unemployment when overtime is happening.

Parser you need to take off a point of something because I'm getting a 31; get rid of that single digit and we'll be fine. Also I believe I told you we could just make a special ability up that declares the robot's inorganic nature and the benefits it might confer.

Aight otomos. Rules say you shouldn't start with 5 anything in char gen which I am abiding by. So change that and you're golden. Anyway servant could work if you wanted it to do slight more stuff such as legit meatshielding, also I could help stat it if you wanted.

Anyway might want to reword magic puppet into Hobby:magic puppet just so I don't forget and to implicate you know about the subject beyond knowing to use it. And if you're attacking with the puppet more often than your character herself I'd give higher damage with the puppet; which I'd probably reword it as Weapon: Puppet with greatsword[Insert number here]. Also while I up for custom skills you should probably explain what Loot does

Also with your power moves you got the endurance values wrong, by default you're burning 10 plus whatever effects that add or subtract.
So that in reality

Assembling Dash Attack would be 30 endurance
Puppet Sky Attack I'm not allowing decimal values so let's have it as being extra damage 2, in which it be eating 20 endurance
For puppet guard, would be better served by the barrier ability, unless you took the servant ability and then it would simply be having it taking the hit for you.
