I need to remember to get a new SSD for wilds and other stuff. NGL I'm hating the era of new games hitting +100 GB. Regardless, I'm glad that MH has blown up and no longer niche

It's gonna be gas. Can't wait to see what sort nonsense you can pull of in focus mode with the funlance and hunting horn. Also, looking forward to new monsters to skin and wear as hats.

Should have made that a bit clearer. As I just assumed all that gods stuff was like ancient history and the present was just kinda the aftermath and within that context honestly any large fortress city would be enough to deal with straggler monsters and not like petty drama isn't magically dissolved just cuz of them.
I thought the god war was some mythical event background event that happened way way way long ago and it's the after effects which are relevant.

Also the underground part of the swap is a simple cellar
Name: Pisco Caipirinha

Age: 31

Gender: Male

Race: Human

Appearance:

Occupation:Apprentice brewer and fighting trainee, future lonely warrior of love.
Skills: Fighting, booze making, boozing, being man pretty yet brooding, survival.

Powers:

Inventory: An oddly shaped belt with magic power. The clothes on his back, supplies necessary for operations.

History: An ordinary man with no special quality who was just the simple son of a shepherd and a seamstress. He was to be just a apprentice until he became a starcrossed lover to a certain Kina Lillet a member of a highborn clan of brewing masters. He then became embroiled in a massive conflict between her clan and their enemy whereupon he became the victim of a very convoluted plan that involved his abduction and magical brainwashing to become some sort of assassin spy sent to not only kill but to steal their secrets.

Eventually he managed to break free and fight back. But the damage was done and fate conspired against him. As in the resulting aftermath meant not only could not come back and see her but also meant that he too had become target of their enemy. Forced to leave everything behind he wandered in heartbreak and with a thirst for vengeance until he found himself under the tutelage of Xaio brothers. His knowledge would promise the two things he needed for that conflict and his return. Now he helps his master as they train within the tranquil marshlands as he bides his time as he increases his skills yet he feels unprepared. The question is not of readiness though, but rather if it's all in his head or not. Regardless he will return and fight for justice.

Point of Interest: Nillbire swamps. It's wet with something resembling water and it smells kinda sour. Homebase to the hut in which most of the brewing along with its secret underground segment. An etrance to a limestone cavern that has been formed by the acidic water which has been properly drained of excess moisture and given proper ventilation that acts as a cellar for both food and their booze.
They say money can't buy happiness but it sure as hell makes things easier.

Also that terrible luck
Could be interesting.

Tentatively waiting for the ooc
pretty much.

Once we get rolls from Rance and Descartes we'll be able to start
Nah it's cool.

Also despite the dicepool advantage the guy I have has. Parser somehow beat me in initiative, which shall be be glossed over and discounted for that would break the tutorial and nobody would want to skip a tutorial level would they?
Anyway yeah everyone needs to get on Orkos and hit JRPG as the campaign name and roll initiative which will be 2d6 intially plus/minus any modifiers which will subtract or add to the pool
The music finally fame its climax as the full melody accompanied the priestess' parting words to the audience. Already the entertainers and revelers were starting things up in the background albeit quietly as she continued. "...And now please to visitors enjoy your stay and the festival, our city she welcomes you with open arms." The celebration was in full swing as people cheered and the festivities commenced with revelers, entertainers, and of course the vendors doing their things.

The skies began to darken which in the case of rain might stall the festival or be ignored depending on the severity. Still the festivities continued uninterrupted with only a close eye for rain. However there was something different as there was an odd mechanical buzzing sound that screeched through the wind. Just then the gates were breached as a horde of the local outlaw gang came running in not for a suicidal attack but rather as if something was chasing them.

Like a million angry cicadas all making noise at the same time. Descending from above these things. They looks like statuesque angels with odd rotating spokes in place of feathered wings which like a swarm approached the city and began opening fire as bright red bolts hit the city in a short lived barrage barrage. The guards already alerted and ready to attack the bandits turned to attack the bandits turned to these attackers. But there countermeasures were sloppily overpowered as the city began to fall into flames and chaos spread.

A long figure dressed rather oddly stood alone next to a black box next to his side. Hand on sword and watching seemingly in shock. "THAT'S NO WAY TO DO THINGS. AS MASTER SAID, TO TAKE AN OVERWHELMING FOE DO NOT CHARGE IN BUT ATTACK PIECE BY PIECE AND THEN RUSH FOR THE FINISHING BLOW!" he said as if addressing some sort of audience although maybe it was the guards who kept rushing in and getting beat back.
Is everyone ready?
