Amidst the smoking debris of now ruined arachnid bot a figure fell directly down from the darkness sky making a metallic thud. Arising almost dramatically atop the scrap heap was a nude man. Or rather partially nude as he was conveniently censoring the mysterious regions of where his pants would be with a hat. With a subtle flapping a set of fold clothes came falling right to an outstretched hand followed by a large dust plume. Meanwhile the priestess amidst the ruined center could help but blush while feeling a certain part of her brain burn out at attempting to process this.

Soon forth the remaining guards of the city led the brave warriors to the temple and to the priestess. Amidst this small courtyard did she meet them saying, "On behalf of the temple I thank you all, however there is something much more important to discuss. Come follow me here." Leading them through an area of pillars and then to a small box like structure of stone and precious metal that lead way to this catacomb. Inside it had frescoes and all sorts of iconography and decorations.

The spider had no chance at doing anything as it ultimatly the attack it made. Left it vulnerable to that righteous strike that smite it into the ground and sent bits and pieces everywhere in the ruined town. The sun set solemnly set over the town further illuminating its sorry state amidst the flames and debris and casting everything in an orange tint

IC blurb As a young Genin in the village of [insert name here] you and many others now have embarked on your first step to ninja-hood at Flowing Dew of the Mountains Academy. By your own way you have managed to succeed and graduate to Genin and now are part in a group with your teacher and a bunch of other people you may or may not even know. Your training still continues as you receive missions and instructions slowly inching your way to the eventual promotion event where many will not ascend to the next rank. Still the future is open and unknown and much time must pass before that happens. All that's certain is you're gonna get your ass kicked.

OOC stuff: Action, drama, unstealthy ninjas, flashy moves and more! Just regular stuff for the Naruto setting.
Anyway yeah the focus is going to be on the whole ninjas in-training to actual ninja-hood that the early parts of Naruto were about. However there are a couple of important things to take note namely that this is being run in a tabletop rules on behalf of someone else and also this is gonna be an alt Universe devoid of certain elements for reasons you can ask after I go through this spiel.

Anyway if I didn't scare you away with the tabletop top thing. I'll continue on to describe how it's gonna all work out. The game rules Legends of the wulin with some homemade additions and changes I did. I'll link them later in the thread and I'll work with you guys on making a character and stuff.

First part of the game is gonna be a glorified tutorial and testing for balance and and addition of new material. The homebrew stuff needs to be tested and expanded as I kept it short and rough to keep it easy on my sanity and not get bogged down in trying to do a complete 1:1 representation. So yeah be aware for the homebrewed stuff gonna need some testing as in the words of Yogi Berra: "In theory there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice there is"

However the core game stuff is pretty solid and you should have plenty of material to just refluff to make it fit it the setting for you manz you're making.

Right so about the alt universe. It's an alt because there's a bunch of stuff I don't care for like the metaplot for example. Or just related to the game. Such as me simplifying the non-bloodline elemental stuff because there's too many moves and not enough ways to make theme mechanically distinct in meaningful ways.

Anyway now that I stopped talking about the big scary rules part is where I get to the other stuff.

-Ask me about your character concept so I can make it work. And honestly that's probably how most of the homebrewed stuff will get in.
I'm totally looking for Co-GM to help out with the fiddly bits as doing this alone is not that easy

Freya's puppet has been discombobulated
Unsure on handling Freya could just let you do a defense roll and go from there or just slap you with a -1 penalty to your pool since going full damage would eat up your HP but not KO you yet

Well is it partial, semi-partial, or complete cover the wall is giving him?
