A conveniently placed clock next to some store provided him reference as to how quickly he'd have to get to the arena. First thing he'd do was get something to eat and then a drink.

Some time later Kahl found himself walking with a loosely clustered group of people up a road. In the distance he spotted some structure that looked like the arena. Entering he paid for the ticket and took a seat at one of the many rows of bleachers all encircling a space in the center which he'd presume would be play area proper.

Since we don't start with switch weapons or oversized that means it axes the plan on having a katana-scythe and the backup of wielding an over sized jian type sword.

I can't decide between punching the shit out of them or just like a spear. Thinking of no magics outside of the obligatory familiar spell everyone is going to get. But rather focusing on anime type style of impossible fighting seeing as you mentioned RWBY which would be fitting.

As for bio I really don't have anything in particular because I can't be assed to right now. I kinda just want to go for the minimum needed and drop into the action
