Anyway I was thinking of doing a fantasy game with the simple plot of you (the pcs) being the heroes against an evil dragon emperor oppressing the lands with his ensorceled armies or something. The PC's have this power rangers type deal where they all have their own magical weapon which itself allow them to transform into an armored form that gives you more power. The catch here is that your aren't properly attuned to the weapons which themselves are powerful and mysterious relics from a bygone age that are also coveted by the evil emperor.
Anyway the rule set is OVA which I can share upong being asked and it's a d6 pool system where you roll X amount of dice tied to what you're trying to use in the roll. I chose it because it's a pretty simple system to make a character in that also happens to let you make your own attack moves which I find quite appropriate for the feel I'm going for.

Well I would say a guy versed with surface world survival would be a very useful asset

Your character would be extremely old which could be interesting as I never listed lifespans for everything, I think I wrote somewhere that at least 4 generations passed.
Alternatively you can photoshop fantasy gear on a pangolin or sandlash picture.
