Section #1: Jig Being Right

It has come to my attention, that I am primarily right and drunk.

Jig is completely right.

Jig is right.

[11.01.50] Gowi:

Jig is right. Feel free to send that along.

[Jig is] 100% correct.

Jig was right 8 months ago, and is still right.

I love you, Jig. It's because you're Always Right™.

Once again, Jig is absolutely right about this.

Where is Jig when I need to vent about politics?
Drunk.

The mighty Jig is of course right.

Section #2: Jig's RP's

I'm not post-dating RP's I've been in that died out of nowhere and I've basically forgotten about, so here are my present ones.

Current:

Previous:

Wolf Manor (GM)

Wink Murder (GM)

Project Rehab (Player)

The Kidnapping (Player)

Wink murder: Who Killed Mr. Jig? (GM)

Finite Incantatem (Co-GM)

Lies! He'd probably be really creeped out/suspicious by the change. :P

But Flavs, that'll only make him nicer.
<Snipped quote by Jig>

Because it's true.

Fuck that, I'm gonna make Sol extra nice to Jonas to make it up to him. ^^
10/10 to Marci and Gray for having a good time so far.

As of yet, Kim and Jonas have actively had a shitty time and Tom and Lynn seem to have, through them, got the idea that the Wolfs are assholes.

a pretty face with an ugly personality

The treachery. I shall have Jonas done for libel and slander.

The sentence may be lessened if the accused inserts

at the top of their post. Ie: title card pls Flavs, exactly as you C&P it.

I can't wait for the next title card, which will be for the next section (obviously).

Jig's IRL Plans

Until Wednesday 27th, I'm going to be focussing on exams with a short break for a couple of gigs: by the time we've tacked on how unbelievably wasted I'm going to be following my last exam this year, it might be until that relevant weekend before I can really get on here. Fortunately, it doesn't look like, apart from the odd bit of coordination, I have too much to do in this atm, so hopefully it can tick along with the time I can give this.

Also be aware that from June 8th until the 15th, Jig's unbelievably excellent other half is coming to visit, so I shan't have too much time during that period either, because we don't see each other too often, despite the aforementioned unbelievable excellence. Obviously I will remind you again at the time.

Jiggery-Pokery

I'm generally avoiding retrospectively changing any content from you guys in particular, but after my next exam, I'm going to carpet bomb the IC, and ask each of you (and will myself) to:

a) Make sure each post is timed and also dated
b) Remove as much clutter as possible from the IC. I don't mind the hiders so much where they're dividing internal sections of the posts or 'bonus content' like letters, but where they're just 'shrinking' the size of the post (particularly where the post is exclusively in the hider), I'd rather they were removed.

But never fear! There is reason to the madness, and rewards if you do. The reason is that having OoC notes and bits unnecessarily in hiders makes it a little bit trickier to retrospectively search for information, which is a pain in the arse for both you and me. The reward is that I'll finally get round to listing the sections and linking to their respective title cards in the OoC and/or Character Tab/s. I mean, I'm gonna do that anyway, but give a little, take a little? ^^

Thanks all,
- Jig out
“Everyone else? You're going after this 'David Howell' with smaller teams to be decided by... Alberta on site. Speaking of site...”
Ronan

This is hunky-dory, given that I'm spending the next week and a half of my life crying over German Literature and Linguistics before my exams.

I will endeavour (ie: no promises) to be online and with time frequently enough to keep this ticking over, but there may be some 'bearing with Jig' to be done. Note that I will still be reasonably active on the forums to keep the RP for which I'm the sole GM (Wolf Manor, check it out in the Advanced Section?) ticking over.

Those of you in Alberta's team*, since we will probably end up sub-dividing (I will be further speaking to McHaggis to see what if anything she has in mind), if any of you have any preferences, let me know. If not, I'll basically arbitrarily decide/select to suit what the exact plans are.

Judging from IC, but this post is rated 'D' for Drunk so be careful with proclamations, the people in Bertha's team are:

Siobhan: @McHaggis
Victor: @Ghost Shadow
Ludo: @Phloem
Finn: @RawkHawk64
Kate: @YoshiSkittlez
+ healers as of yet undisclosed.

Please tag/quote/PM me if you wish to specifically respond to any of my posts. This thread gets eaten by the casual section pretty quickly and there's so many of you that it's likely that I'll miss anything important unless it's explicitly marked for me to see.

Hrk.

So uh, in the collab that @MyCatGinger and I just did, Lynn and Jonas totally did head to the lake. Not swimming or anything, just chatting. And sitting.

Eepcicles. Can you PM a link to what I presume is a GDoc? I'm willing to bet I just need to gently meddle rather than go

Well, it appears more or less decided.

Having only just caught up on Call's post, I'm gonna drop a totally not-really-anymore spoiler; there's something in the lake.

Though I must say, I’m terribly excited to explore the manor’s grounds tomorrow, I’ve been told there’s a beautiful lake nearby and I do love to swim.
Graven

Well-spotted and well-established that the lake may be receiving a proper visit, but it won't be any great surprise that when we do get there, I'm going to be shananiganising like a there's no tomorrow, so I'm going to suggest that anybody that fancies a dip have a particularly debilitating hangover so it doesn't happen during the log post.

While nothing is going to stop any of your characters going to the lake, I'm keeping this one up my sleeve, and so it will probably be something of a wasted trip, in terms of plot content.

Say, @Jig, which one of us started doing the stage direction thing first? Woll Manor was the first time I dreamed up the idea.

I've been doing it as long as I've been doing collabs and I've been RPing eight years, so I'm gonna say I introduced it to you. :D
I stand in favour of one big massive house party!

Note that this won't be happening in the current section because oh god I'm not ready to deal with it.

I like the idea of using one of my characters as the POV, since it would be likely to be one huge post, but I am worried about it leaking meta-information if I ever give a clue as to whatever the character in question is thinking of.

Then again, if we all use the stage-direction system to get the 'blueprint' of the post, I can at least try to write it (you guys might be sick of doing all the work!), and if I just can't do it without leaking, there's no reason one of you couldn't do it instead.

For the record, Jig absolutely despises collabs being written from multiple perspectives. That's why the Wolfs' actions/etc are never written out for you directly, they are stage directions which have to be written yourself, from your character's perspective.

Found this out in my first rp with Jig. And violated readily in my rp with Flav because I'm that kind of friend

This is most definitely true, but I've collabed with all of you now, so you probably all know. :P

I've never really seen the point of a collab that switches perspective between the characters involved: the whole point of a new post is that it has a new perspective, either by being from the same character perceiving a new event, or a new character perceiving the same event, or a new character perceiving a new event entirely. When the collab could essentially be broken up into different sections for different perspectives, I don't really see it as anything other than a bunch of smaller posts bundled into one for the sake of length.

Edit: Not that there's anything wrong with smaller posts. :P
(High fives to Bliss for being somewhat decisive on one option.)

Holy mother of god. See if you can try to infect Flavs with that assertiveness. >:D
Plot Details #6A
The Curious Case of the Overly Fanciful Title; bits and bobs as they occur to me (and not before)

Wakey-wakey:

You wake up to find a note posted under your bedroom door. Apparently, this is the Wolfs’ Patented Guest Communication TechniqueTM, but whatever.

“Good Morning!
After last night, we thought we’d treat you to a lazy morning/afternoon and leave you to explore and relax as you please throughout the day. If you need anything, just let one of us know. Call Félix if you’d like breakfast in your rooms.
Sol"

It doesn’t seem an awful lot like the same note from yesterday, from its cooler tone to its suddenly very clear and precise handwriting, or even the vacuous smiley face that is absent from his signature. The cynical among you may even suspect that Sol didn’t write it himself (a suspicion that will be later supported by his nursing a hangover which I will detail upon request).

Food:

A couple of you have asked me about the dining room and food situations. I honestly don't want to get too hung up on food, so basically however you want to do it is fine by me. For the purposes of log posts (and as a general rule unless otherwise stated), not that it has to manifest in your posts if you give as few shits about food as I do, let's assume that any Wolf that you happen to bump into asks you what you want, and if you don't bump into any, Félix or even Klara seeks you out to ask. Then, assuming you don't want Unicorn Rump on a salad of leaves from the lava tree and an apple from the Garden of Eden, that it happens.

If this gets derailed by food, I will not be held responsible for my actions. I was in one RP that died because of an owl and a mobile phone, and I don't think I'll ever live it down.

Expect more gubbins as you ask me questions that will be beneficial for the group as a whole to know. I won’t detail where the Wolfs are, because it only really matters if you want to interact with them, so we’ll be talking anyway.
Couple of splodges are making their way into the Character Tab.

Now, one of you reminded me that there is a dining room in the House. Originally I had planned a proper formal, sit-down meal with all your smiling faces and the Wolfs, except this sounds like sheer hell to coordinate, rather than the bits where you all get to float off and do more or less what you want.

Is this something we want to attempt (given my sheer horror in the face of Unguided Group Conversations of DoomTM, or would you rather pass on it?
