Amelia gave a rare smile as she looked up at Sasha before giving the out stretched hand, her expression slightly confused. After a few seconds though she reached out a shook it. She didn't notice Kazehaya's approached and jumped when he made his presence known. Her right hand flew to her heart, which didn't take the adrenaline rush and increase in heart rate well. When it finally calmed down to the point she could talk, her tone was somewhat pained" Hello Kazehaya-san... do you wish to join us on the job?"

Amelia looked around when she heard people talking about the Jara Jam. It turned out to be Sasha and Natsume, two of the mages involved in the fighting earlier. Still holding the paper with the job details, she walked over to the two.
"The job doesn't involve eating anything, Natsume-san" She said, holding the paper out towards them" You have to go looking for some jara leaves. The reward does involve some cobbler though, so you might end up with a free meal."

Looking at the two older mages, she seemed a bit nervous but after a few seconds she finally said what was on her mind
"Would... would you two mind if I joined you on this job?" she asked, not very confident at the prospect of the two saying yes.

Amelia let out a relieved sigh when the fighting finally stopped but she was still annoyed at the guild master's antics. Still, it was finally quieting down and several people where leaving, probably to go one some jobs and earn some money. Amelia mostly earned her money by helping out in the nearby town when she could find work. There were several reasons she had never taken a guild job: most of them seemed too tough for her with her condition, she wasn't part of a team and she doubted anyone would want her, and lastly her magic. She had never used it in the guild to date and she never really used it outside the guild unless she absolutely needed to, and even then she was hesitant. Still, she needed to start taking jobs sooner or later. Might as well start sooner.

Grabbing her sketchpad, she left the bar and walked over to the job board to see what was available. There was one that involved looking for a cat. She would take that one if none of the others seemed good. The only other job was the Jara Jam one. She could probably handle that one. It paid nicely and she was used to the wild. She had grown up there for several years. And if no one else was around or only guild mates were, she could use her magic freely. Reaching up she took the paper with the job and began examining it for more details, like what a Jara plant or it's leaves looked like.

So long as you understand Amelia might need a little attention and you're willing to put up with it. Still, I do hope she'll prove useful at times with her unique talents.
