Descruction here fights to find a worthy opponent who can finally match her in combat when she goes all out. Chaos fights to simply live up to his name. Fear fights because she finds causing pain fun.
In the end you must find your own reason for fighting little Mirror Denizen. We know you prefer peace but at times you must raise up your sword and fight, whether you like it or not. If your reason ever falters, your sword will be weak and you'll end up powerless.

The console games use Rods but the portable games use tomes, that way you could use a weapon and magic. The trade up was that magic tended to always cost a lot more RP in the games that did that.
