Marathon training started today, and it's just as painful as I expected. Wahh. But I do feel a bit better than I do on my normal run. Pain - Bad. Runners high from a long run? Great.

In Harry Potter New Age RP → 12 yrs ago Forum: Casual Interest Checks

I'm becoming even further obsessed with the Harry Potter novels again, and I want to start a RP. I want it to be set in the present day, and I want it to be set with OC's ranging anywhere from first years (11 years old) to seventh years (17-18 years old). We can come up with some sort of villain if you guys would like, sort of like a new age Voldemorte, or we could just run through the traditions of Hogwarts (and the other magical schools).

Just show your interest and be ready to collaborate. I don't like making rules for a story that hasn't begun, because I can promise you all the rules would change. This is one of four RP's I will be GMing, and I ONLY do collaborative RP's, because ruled RP's die out really quickly. Post ideas, thoughts, comments, or just the fact that you're interested and would like an OOC put up.

I'm ready to get this started. I literally just need everyone who is ready to start to say 'Here'...so that I know how many we have and if we need to recruit. We only need 3-5 players, but more is just fine, as long as you're ready for a VERY fast paced RP. When this thing gets moving, me and FuriePhoenix post between 2-4 times a day. I don't expect that from you guys, necessarily, but if you're going to interact with the main characters, you'll need to keep up with us.

There are ways to do that, as well...especially if your character is a different species from human. Popping in and out...going on missions...etc. Just be smart and if you think that it's too fast, we can always work something out. But for now, let me know if you're here, and go ahead and start getting your Character sheets ready. I think we'll just keep this OOC...and I'll post all of my sheets tomorrow.

I'm beyond excited for this to start again.
