That feel when you apply for jobs and realize you changed your phone number from what's on your resume

My current mood: What do you mean I speak French fluently? Verb tenses? I don't need to say the right actual words do I?

I just gave blood and now subjected myself to walking up two flights of stairs. That was fun

@Jones Sparrow, @Akayaofthemoon My lovely loves, you should change the application status.
I am so sore but I am here, alive. Sort of
Insomnia was a hell of a thing.
There was screaming, she held a child in her arms as she guided her ship. Her ship was transporting civilians when they stumbled into a war zone. It was all her fault. All her fault.

Addy sat at her station, putting in input from their most recent adventures. She made maps based on where they've been. She was tired but she couldn't sleep. Every time she closed her eyes she could see the death and destruction that she caused.
She was the last one to emerge from the ruins of her ship. When she emerged, she was immediately tackled to the ground. She saved over four hundred lives, but it didn't seem to matter a bit.

Addy didn't react when she heard the child's laughter echoing around in her head. She knows what causes it, sleep deprivation does a number on a person's head. Addy was used to it, though, and didn't think much of them.
The blaring sirens however weren't part of her hallucinations and she groaned.

"Morning Cap." She said sarcastically as he blew through and into his gun station. She started booting up the hyper drive. Only problem is it took 9 minutes and 53 seconds to do so.
"Tango, if you could start the countdown and give me a visual on the ships." Adalaide started turning the ship to face the enemy ships, in order to become a smaller target and because most of their staffed guns are on the front of the ship. The ship was so large, they only truly occupied a fraction of what they're probably supposed too. Which means there's a lot that they can't secure.
"Hey Cap, we took a fair amount of damage that first fight avec ces petites merdes, and they got quite a few hits on us. Any chance there's a tracking device on the outside of the ship? That's how they keep finding us? Because I know they're not following us." Addy mused as she finished turning the ship to the side and then she got the alerts one of the air locks had been opened, and then she heard Shaso͞on in her head and she hit the dash, swearing violently.

"Je jure devant Dieu baise tout le monde sur ce putain de putain navire est fou." Addy muttered, before checking the countdown, taking deep, calming breaths.
"Cap, we have a little under eight minutes until we can warp." Addy advised him, as she brought up all the ships readings from energy levels to the shields integrity levels. She watched as the idiot flew towards the rat people and watched for the rat people's first move.
@Jones Sparrow Thanks love, I'll transfer it over now. I can't wait for this to start!
@Jones Sparrow I haven't seen one of your roleplays for a very long time, but like always when you come around your plots are exactly what I'm looking for. If you don't mind I'll have a CS up before tomorrow.
When Adalaide came to reside at Court, she requested a room facing the East. They were unpopular, due to the morning sun, but in her home city there was no escaping the sun. If it did not face you directly, it would reflect off the sand and blind you just as badly. She was use to rising early and she didn't want to break the pattern.

Except for this morning. This morning she would appreciate if she could sleep in just an hour longer. As much as she normally loves people, she would be dreading interacting with as many people as were here today. It's always draining, and she just didn't look forward to it. The one thing she did appreciate about this, was that she could wear clothes from home, instead of the stuffy dresses from Indra. No one could say anything because there were going to be a lot more important people here wearing the same exact clothing.

Speaking of more important people, Adalaide glanced at the letter that was on her bedside table. Her sister sent it about a week ago, but it only arrived last night due to a sandstorm that blocked the mountain pass. It said that both her sister and her sister's husband would be arriving sometime this week. Something to cause her normally good mood to dampen her mood even further.

"M'Lady are you awake?" Adalaide's maid, Dinah, knocked on Adalaide's door and Adalaide sighed. Never two moments to herself.
It could be worse, Addy, you could be part of the Royal family. Adalaide smiled despite herself before calling her maid in.
"Would you grab my blue dress from home? I'll give them the biggest show tonight, and maybe they'll leave me alone for the rest of the nights." Adalaide said as she got out of bed and removed her nightdress. She stepped into her gown, seriously it was that simple, and had Dinah braid her hair while she applied her make up. It was over stated, but it was what people expected. Adalaide sent Dinah off to do whatever Dinah does during the day, and Adalaide went down to breakfast. Luckily being up so early had it's perks and she didn't have to dine with anybody. She made her rounds around the castle, talking to more people then she usually talks to the whole day in the span of a few hours. Finally Adalaide had enough and went to hide in the gardens, more specifically the maze. She didn't enter far, for she was claustrophobic enough as it is, but entered just enough to hide her. She was compact enough to hide her small frame on a bench, across the path but down a ways from where the Crown Prince had decided to sit down. Adalaide could see his legs in the aisle, and stifled a smile.

Adalaide tried not to say anything, to keep up the silence she so desperately wanted but she couldn't say nothing and so finally she broke the silence in the worst way possible.
"That's a good idea, Your Highness, sticking you legs out like that. People might things they're logs in the path and be dissuaded from coming down this corridor." Adalaide let a small smile fall on her face. She would forever tease the Crown Prince about his height, and she couldn't stop now just because it might be considered tactless at this point. They had both come to escape but if there was someone near her, Adalaide couldn't help but say something.

Name: Dahlia Thurgood

Race: Witch
Side: Light
Weapon(s): Staff, made out of wood.
Abilities/Powers: Her magic, enhanced by her staff, is pretty powerful but she can't use it to kill.
Talent(s): Tracking, regardless of her magic abilities
Personality: Dahlia is a happy person, she enjoys people and she enjoys being around people. She helps whenever she can and while she isn't naive, she's will trust someone until someone gives her reason not too.
Biography:
Dahlia was born to a mother who didn't want her and a father who was too dead to care. Her magic was hereditary, and both her parents had it, but her mother didn't care to teach her about her powers. A young witch with no control of her powers is dangerous, and she hurt a lot of people before her grandmother found her. Her grandmother gave her the staff she uses now. It channels her powers to do what she wants it to do. Years of training made obsolete due to this staff. It's only restriction is that she couldn't use it to kill, only for protection.
After she had her staff, she was much more in control. Occasionally her magic flares around her, when she's emotional but for the most part she's one of the most powerful beings she knew, simply due to her ability to think about what she wants to happen and it does. She travelled far and wide, and became an acclaimed healer. Eventually she came to the royal family, and became an apprentice to their own healer, learning more than just magically remedies but for the majority of her cases she uses her magic.
