Remember that if you ever feel like you're terrible at naming things, just know that my friends dragged me into playing a dark and serious MMO where a boss was named "Deathkill."

Hm... how to fallout crossover if you've never played it?

Idunno. It's a pretty cool coincidence, though.

Fallout Pokemon crossover confirmed.

Well, we already have that Shadow Pokemon serum thing to take the place of the FEV. The way the guilds are laid out (with the small entrance leading down into a larger underground complex) is really reminiscent of the original Brotherhood of Steel bunker, though the guilds are obviously a lot less... strict than their Fallout counterpart... They're kind of similar already, now that I think about it.

Well damn. I've never played any Fallout, but man do I want that game.

It's pretty good. Well, the first one, anyways. I got into the series about a year ago when I played Fallout 3, but eventually came to the conclusion that it was the weakest game in the main series. If you don't mind playing older turn-based games (or maybe even if you aren't. I've never been to keen on turn-based combat, but Fallout handles it cleverly enough to make it entertaining for me. Plus you can be the more clever sort of hero who talks their way to victory and can bypass most of the combat anyways) you'll have a lot of fun with Fallout and it's sequel. Probably New Vegas, too.
Well, long story short, we moved the place to California.

Ah, a truly classic setting for a Post Nuclear Role Playing Game.
I tried to make a map

But I died.

Do remember though that this RP takes place after humanity. I tried to base the location off on a detached Florida, but that didn't work too well.

Now I'm imagining all the characters with bad southern accents. And recall elections.
The geography of the RP differs, greatly to the continent found in the game.

Thanks, that one was really starting to bite at me.
So I was comparing the PMD: Explorers map to the descriptions of the different areas in the hopes of visualizing their location better...

And I remembered something. All those other throwaway dungeons notwithstanding, Treasure town is on a cliff overlooking a bay (sea? cove? Idunno) directly to it's north. Sunswept plains is described as being just to the north of Treasure Town. So is it across that bay somewhere? Or does the geography differ from the actual PMD: Explorers universe depicted in the games?
“Well, you don’t really need to apologize or anything, but…” I start to say, before I’m interrupted again. It’s just a little bit annoying that this has happened twice in a row, now, but this time it’s a much more pleasant interruption, considering that this time we’ve found someone who actually has a place for us stay! I greet the young Scraggy with a smile and a wave.

Perfect to the last beat… I think to myself. Why didn’t I think of that one? I softly shrug, deciding that it’s better than having to repeat my speech every time we need an introduction. ‘Perfect to the last beat’ would go great on a business card, actually, if those were actually used anymore. I guess they were just kind of a weird novelty even back then, but hey, it sounds kind of cool to be that one person who presents a business card and be all “I do hope you’ll keep us in min”-

“Oh! Yeah,” I say, Scraps’ compliment tearing me away from my daydreaming, “I guess we kind of exude that aura. Letting us stay at your place for a bit is pretty cool of you, too.” I’m already thinking about how we could personalize the place, or our own, if we ever get one. We could have a huge banner above the entrance, and it would say “Team Crescendo”, but it would be in front of a staff, and all the individual letters would be placed like musical notes. I flip my sketchbook to my notes page and write that idea down, too, so I don’t have to go to the treble of remembering the idea later.

“Gah!” I shout when the sudden attack calls begin to sound throughout the room. “Do-do Pokemon actually do that? Or maybe it’s some sort of rehearsal? For a play or something?” You'd never get to the top by making yourself so obvious, unless it's your ultimate attack, but even then, the only thing you need to do is resist the urge to say "no one could survive that!" and shut up anyone who dares to think of doing the same. The rumbling of my stomach is enough to bring me back to more important matters; food!

“That sounds like a pretty good plan, actually.” I answer, putting my sketchbook and the satchels on an empty bed. After some deliberation, I decide to take my scarf off as well, not wanting to get any food on it. The food probably isn’t going to be as good as anything back home, but I didn’t really walk nearly as much back home, either, so I can probably make do.
Home. Happy Canadian Easter to all, and may your socks fill with chocolate Jesus eggs.

I'ma look at the IC page now and see what's up. How are you guys :)?

Pretty good. Got plenty of candy and survival horror to keep me awake at night. How was your trip?

Well, who/what IS this NPC? I'd kinda like to know so that I can see if my future app is still going to be relevant, lol

Here's the little minisheet I wrote down for him:

The move in question is Lock-On. I don't plan on him being a major character, but it's nice to check with these sorts of things either way.
Nevermind, it didn't take that long. I'm trying to finally finish Silent Hill 2, though, so it'll still probably be a while. Or maybe not. Depends on how uncomfortable I get.

Anyways, Sumable is now working on a Nincada character, so, Scraps can stay.

Crap, I forgot how awesome Nincada's evolutionary line is. I still don't think they've come up with another line like it.

Anyways, I have an idea for an NPC, and I'm wondering if NPC's are allowed to have illegal moves that they can't learn normally (he specifically would only have one, to fit with the theme I'm going for with him).
