Teryn was a bit relieved that Daniel was willing to help her despite her awkwardness. She had never asked anyone in the group for help before on an assignment nor had anyone ever asked her for help either. It'd be... interesting to see what could happen when she combines forces with another cursed creature. However, she could not tolerate the idea of her not returning the favor in some way or another. That was unacceptable and her pride will not allow it if Daniel simply let her off the hook like that. She was not going to make a habit of asking people for help without doing something for them in return.

"Thank you but I insist on returning the favor," she said less nervously. She was now able to look him in the eyes again and she held her gaze strongly. "I would do anything you want, within reasons of course. It could be something as simple as buying you lunch, so please think of something."

That was all she needed to say to him for the time being until his shift at the cafe ends. She pulled out her laptop and textbook so she could work on her assignment while she waited for him to get off work. A lot of students seem to come here to work on school work so she could probably do the same, despite how much louder this place was compared to the library. "This paper isn't going to write itself," she thought solemnly. She took another sip of her chai latte which had cooled down significantly. It was not that bad when it wasn't burning her tongue. Still too expensive though.

Probably because she did not really want to work on the paper, she let her mind and eyes wander a bit. Toby, Angel, Eddie, Skye, Daniel, and herself. Six members of the same creepy cult. They were all young adults who probably attend the university so maybe it wasn't that strange but what a coincidence. She wondered if any of them were working some kind of agreement of their own for this assignment. Angel probably would need some help since she is new and her powers, like Teryn, does not necessarily matched the type of mission given to them.

They seemed to be enjoying each other's company. Friendships created by unusual circumstances. Interesting... "I know for sure that I wouldn't even bother to get to know any of them if it weren't for Grimbold, not that it matters. But I wonder if the others would still have befriended each other if we weren't bunched up together like this."

She stopped herself there, realizing that she should really work on the paper. She plugged in her headphones so she could listen to music while she worked. It also helped block out the sound of the bustling cafe. She wrote the title and her name on the paper. It was a good start and now she just needed more words.
Wesley was a bit shocked when his father told him the news. It meant that his father would be staying around longer. He could be there for them and help take care of Mason. It meant that maybe Wesley had more time for himself finally. Well, if he wasn't using this time to try to save this Alice girl.

He was still suspicious though. Especially of his dad's new girlfriend. Something was just off about her and her relationship with his dad.

He remained silent as the scene began to unravel. His father and Mason have left the room. Milda and Raven were having some kind of stand off. And Wesley did not know what to do. He shuffled closer towards Raven.

"You came here looking for me right? That's why you had my dad bring you here, right? What do you want from me?" he demanded, though he probably wasn't that intimidating as he was hiding behind Raven. She did have the smoke thing after all. She could probably protect him.

"B-blood?" the White Rabbit said nervously. "Oh dear!"

"Yeah, I don't like the sound of that either. But if she was the Queen, wouldn't she have killed us already?" thought Wesley to the White Rabbit.

"Perhaps, but we should still remain on guard."

"Okay. I'm just saying. I still don't like her and I definitely do not want her to be my new mom."
Nathan got out of the shower and was figuring out what to wear. He had a towel wrapped around his waist as he walked over to his closet. He ended up deciding to wear basic blue jeans with a white shirt and a red flannel. "It is just James after all," he chuckled to himself. The thought of James reminded Nathan that he should check his phone for a reply.

"I honestly don't know. I've never expected to get this far, good thing I wasn't asking you out on a date or I'd really be in trouble. XD"

It made sense that James wouldn't have an idea of where to hang out. He probably hasn't been to places outside of the diner, his home, and the university in like forever. Nathan tried to think of a good place to hang out. He wasn't in the mood for pizza or Italian again. He didn't want to go to the amusement park where he worked, mainly because he did work there. James probably wouldn't like the idea of going to a strip club... though maybe he should ask just in case... Nah... Better not. They could catch a movie, but Nathan wasn't feeling it and nothing good was on that he hadn't already seen yet. Maybe it would be best for Nathan to just meet up with James and figure it out from there.

"Please. I'm pretty much the closest thing you got to a girlfriend, so you better treat me right. :P Let's just meet in the heart of town, in front of the mall. We'll figure it out from there," Nathan texted back.

Then he realized that they haven't established a time yet. "What time?" he added.

As he waited for his friend to reply so they can continue to make plans, he decided to do homework of all things. He figured if James wanted to go right now, he could easily stop doing homework and if James was going set a later time, then at least he'll be productive until then. He opened up his English textbook and flipped to page 105. He groaned at the sight of the title. It wasn't even an actual story this time. It was an article about Ernest Hemingway, who was a cool dude but still. He was beginning to hope that James was free right now so he could have a more valid reason to ditch reading it.

Wesley frowned at the sight of his dad's car in the driveway. A million thoughts raced through his head. Why was his father home already? Did he get fired? What was going on? Mason, on the other hand was delighted. "Look Wes! Daddy's home! Daddy's home!" the young boy exclaimed.

"I guess so..." Wes replied, less enthusiastically. "Let's go inside. Make yourself at home, Raven."

Wesley pulled out his house keys and unlocked the front door. He and Mason took off their shoes and went into the living room. There, waiting for them, was Mr. Abbott and another strange woman. Wesley did not like the feeling he got from her.

"Dad. Who is this woman? What are you doing here instead of being at work? What's going on?" he asked in a concerned voice. He kept his distance and held onto Mason's hand tightly so he wouldn't run off. Mason was squirming and trying to give his father a hug. He quickly gave up though once he realized that Wes was not going to let go anytime soon. He looked up into Wes' eyes with an expression that asked, "What's wrong?"

"She must be a vessel for another spirit,"" the White Rabbit said. "But I'm afraid I'm unsure of which one. I do not know if the spirit is on our side or not. So be careful, Wesley."
@Fukazza
Since you have already been controlling Mr. Abbott, would you like to keep controlling him? Personally it would bother me if the writing style for the character changed.
@sakurasan
For example? xD

I ended up waking up in 4am, and I felt guilty for not replying to my RP's and I didn't want to reply to only like one or two of my RP's because if I did one, I had to do all of them. So I ended up posting for all of them. And I'm tired.

Teryn went over to the counter and picked up her drink and had sat back down at one of the tables as she waited for Daniel to be on his break. It didn't take as long as she expected. She hadn't even gotten her stuff out yet to work on homework and studying so she could do that while she waited for him.

"We can stay here though I might request more of your time after your shift," she said before blowing into her chai latte.

She had noticed that for some reason, a lot of the people in their little cult was in the cafe today. Or maybe they came here all the time, not that she would know since this was not her scene. None of those who were there were very fond of her though, so she let their presence go unacknowledged.

"So... I need your help with the assignment," she said softly. She avoided looking at Daniel and focused intensely on her cup. She hated asking for help and rarely did it. "Of course, I would owe you one... So...p-p-please, help me," she added, stammering on a certain magic word.

She took a sip of her chai latte and it burned her tongue. She winced slightly from the pain and couldn't help but stick her poor tongue out. How shameful was all of this. She needed help and she looked like an idiot.
