Katherin sat in the airport waiting. She wanted to stand by the gate but that was a recipe for disaster. Being blind meant that she would only be in the way. She had promised that she would wait right here. She knew her soldier would come to her. She wished the airport wasn't so crowded and echoey. There was too much noise for her to know when he was coming. She would have to be patient and wait for her lover to come to her.

Let him think she was a light weight the way most men did. She didn't care.
