Mortimer opened the basement door, and began to hum the birthday song.
He slowly closed the door and locked it shut.
"Is the birthday girl ready for her surprise?"
Mortimer squeezed the trigger of the drill and grinned at his mother.
" I'll have cable for ya in just a shake of the wrist."
BUZZZZZZZ, the drill came to life and soon he had installed cable tv for his dear beloved mother.
He adjusted her chair for a better view of the screen.
Mortimer stared at his mother, he could see no joy in her eyes.
"It's alright mommy dearest, I understand."
