That was 'the promised neverland'. it was actually about an orphanage where the kids thought they had a good life, and the kids who left were finding good homes. But, one day, they got worried when they never got responses to letters sent to the kids who left, their friends.

To sum up, they eventually found out the truth one night. That they were on a farm where human kids were raised as food for demons.

I never watched it. I didn't want to. i only know what i know because i looked it up.

I missed the first episodes when it came on, but I what I did see I liked.

There was another one I liked, c ant remember the name, but it was an orphanage where the kids were being sent as food to these demonic creatures, and the kids decide to escape

Ash looked at the dead cops, then to this Jesse fellow.
"What the hell are you doing?"
Ash points at the dead or dying cops, "They're just doing their job, they are the good guys, you never kill the good guys!"
" I dunno what God forsaken world that I landed in, but I'm pretty sure I don't want anything to do with it."
Ash picked up his shotgun, and got nose to nose with Jesse.
" I don't like you, your a threat to me and whoever else is stuck on this shithole!"
" I'm gonna go my own way, and if we cross paths again, I might just show you what it's like to dance with the king, baby."
Ash turned and walked away from the madness that just took place.
He looked down at the dead police officers, " I'm sorry about all this."
"This is one sick fucking joke!" Ash yelled looking up at the sky, wondering if there truly was a God up there watching, or just some sick twisted comedian.
