ESCAPE FROM NEW YORK: THE ZOMBIE INVASION

You find yourself trapped inside the apartment complex in which you live.
Zombies have infested the hallways, and even some of the rooms.
Supplies are low, some of you have families, and must provide for them by any means necessary.
Maybe if you can fight your way out, perhaps you can find others, build an army, rescue your family members, and escape New York.

El Superhombre tied the mask on over his face, once more he would come out of retirement, the people would need a hero again.
He was a talent in his old days, Mexico was very unhappy when a local New York wrestling league offered him a nice contract.
El Superhombre wrestled for the company for thirty years, then retired due to an injury.
Now here he is, in his fifties, lacing up the boots one more time.
He looks at his grandchildren, and kneels in front of them, saying a small prayer before kissing their foreheads.
El Superhombre nodded to his father and mother, before heading out the door.
Once outside, he saw 3 zombies walking about the hallway, 2 to his left and 1 to the right.
He charged the 2 zombies on his left for a double clothesline!

One of the main problems with horror in general, especially with the internet around, is when a horror character gets popular. People make parodies, or make hundreds of VS threads. Plus with all the gore in horror movies people get desensitized to things. To me, neither any horror movie villain or creepypasta is scary anymore. It takes a while for me to find that rare cult movie or r/nosleep submission that can scare me.
