@Temperance Ferals basically gotta be caught in the act for confirmation, but there are clues: they're not all there mentally and they'll be notably stronger than other vampires of the same age. Also, Ferals may or may not be allies with one another. But with people hunting them, there is motivation to be friendly to another feral.

@Wraithblade6 @BreakingMe Is right. However, you're free to make any sort of character you wish. Sorry if it's confusing in the OP.

@reiko We're hoping this RP will be mostly character driven, allowing the players to take the plot where they wish. However, if it gets too off topic or stuck, we GMs will guide y'all along.
So long as characters who share similar goals come together, though, this won't be necessary.

@Wraithblade6 We are pretty much full when it comes to Hunters unless you can throw in a great one. And we're always open for turned vampires, so I like that second character. However, we only have one feral vampire, so if you're willing to, that's what I recommend. Our war is a little uneven right now, aha

@AtomicNut Blood from bags are good and blood from a fresh kill should be fine. Basically, if you can put it in a living person, it's good to drink.
