RWBY: Beacon's "Finest"

Finally! It was thought by both Felix and Enyo simultaneously. They both moved for the exit and bumped shoulders, bouncing off each other... well, Enyo bounced off the much larger Felix in reality. Before she could yell at him, a frantic girl surged past both of them, pushing Felix aside and nearly trampling Enyo. Felix was about to help her, but...

"Touch me and die..." Enyo grumbled from her position face-down on the floor. She pushed herself up and stormed out of the airship. She'd find the girl and scream at her later, for now she needed stress relief, and that meant absolutely destroying that other kid in a test of skill. In the end it wasn't hard to find him, she just had to follow the gunshots, which were followed by scattered applause. A coin bounced off her head and she frowned deeply. She looked down and saw that it had a large crater in it from being shot. She also heard a number of other coins dropping out of the sky, and most of them seemed similarly deformed. Yeah, yeah. Real impressive... That said, this might be harder than she thought. It wasn't easy to shoot coins with arrows. She'd need something else... or...

She picked up a fallen coin, he'd hit it, but only just the edge so it wasn't too deformed yet.

"Think you're hot stuff? It's not like you're the only one who can do that, you shouldn't get cocky, so wipe that stupid grin off your face," she berated him, but kept her voice level this time. "Hey you, let me borrow that!" She walked over to one of the spectators, who happened to have a large pistol strapped to his waist.

"Wh- me? Why!?"

"Because I don't have a gun! Does this look like a gun? Don't answer that, I have to believe not everyone is a complete idiot. You obviously like watching people show off, so let me borrow that!" Enyo badgered the kid until he gave in more out of intimidation than any desire to be friendly. She took the over-sized pistol in one hand, glad that wielding her own bow for so long had made holding heavy weapons less of a chore. She noticed it had a holographic pop-up sight, and purposely lowered it. "Now just watch," she said, voice filled with confidence and a smile on her face.

She placed the coin she'd grabbed over the top of her thumb, like she was about to flip it. When she flicked it up into the air though, it rocketed up and out of sight. She'd used her semblance to send it sky-high with compressed air. She then held out the pistol one-handed and looked carefully. She couldn't see the coin, but she could see the light bouncing off of its metallic surface, a tiny flicker in the air. A quick adjustment of her aim, and she fired. It was impossible to see if she hit it, but one could faintly hear the "clink" of metal hitting metal. She then saw another glint, and saw where the coin had ended up after having its course changed by the first shot. She fired again, and was rewarded by another faint "clink." Before the coin landed, she did it a third time, shooting the same coin three times in one flight. When it landed, a spectator picked it up the mangled piece of metal, which had definitely been shot multiple times.

"See? Guns are easy. Kinda boring really," she commented, letting the borrowed pistol dangled from one finger by the trigger guard.

Rurik thought he heard something strange, but that was before a wave of flames and shrapnel bounced back at him. He wasn't sure that he entirely blacked out, but he definitely had a blank moment in his memory after getting blasted. As he sat back up, apparently he'd been knocked over, he saw the wyvern taking to the sky and flying off. He felt a stinging sensation, and looked down to see little bits of stone stuck to his forearms. He brushed them off, and fortunately it seemed most hadn't broken the skin. That said, at this point he was pretty sure he didn't so much have arms as he did have a couple of bones wrapped in tenderized meat. Both his arms were black, blue, and purple from the elbows down. His hands had also been singed, and stung quite badly.

He stood and glanced at Verin, and then Chloe. That was when what he heard came back to him.

"Chloe, uhh, did you say something when you attacked the Wyvern?" he asked. "Something like... uhh..." What exactly had he heard? That was when his mind pieced it together. Giant Bear's Ultra Super Mighty Flaming Hammer of Destruction. His eye twitched. What in the name of everything sacred was that? "Err, actually, n-never mind." He sighed. "Let's just head back to the guild." He needed to take care of his arms, and more importantly, he needed sleep. He'd been tired, and now he was pushing somewhere past exhaustion.

Edit: are you using chrome? I opened the page in chrome and it stopped working. It works fine when I use firefox though...
