Hello, Lord Wolf, how are you? Unfortunately, I've suffered some memory issues. I can't remember if we ever conflicted... I want to say in the roleplay we were somwhat neutral towards each other?
Hey there RPG, it's been awhile. If any oldies don't remember me, it's Cale Tucker. Not the best of reputations, but I think the past is ultimately the past. Anyone remember Flooby? Or To Lunds? That great old Medieval NRP that was huge, but lasted 2 IC pages? Well, Flooby and I still have nostalgia of those days. He almost asked me to return to RPG to try for a NRP (which I interpreted as an actual request).

Either way, remembering or not, I am interested in a Medieval NRP. Custom nations, or taking over historical ones, but I'm not looking to follow suite on ye olden history books, I'd like the chance to take the reigns of a Nation and lead them to a path I want them. Flooby and I are considered an old timer bunch here on RPG, and I might be able to persuade him to login if we can find something fun. Would anyone be up for such a roleplay? Custom or Historical? (A-Historical, probably) Freedom of play and to take your Nation where you want.

The problem that really befell To Lunds, was the Math issue. Flooby and I agree the math was overwhelming. While initially it was alright to deal with, unfortunately the Military required every next post to have new math, and Flooby, himself, had to calculate everything. So while we of course want Military to be involved, we want more emphasis on a story, to play our nations and be Monarchs, or Dictators, or Presidents, and lead our countries. It would be a little more fun to be a national leader, rather than solely a military general, which is what To Lunds turned into, unfortunately.

I am not looking to lead a roleplay, and neither is Flooby. Our ability to throw incredible amounts of time to lore writing and world building are, to say the least, over. But while we still have our busy lives, we are interested in possibly joining something, able to devote just a little time, for a post or two, every so often.

If anyone experienced with NRPs would be interested, you have 1, maybe 2, ready players to hop in. Please post your ideas below, of any kind of world setting that might be jogging around in your brain. But at current we prefer Medieval, Non-Fantasy.
I'm not sure who wants to play. The system isn't finished because no one wants to finish it and no one likes the simple system
Simple, not complicated. The more complicated, the more unknown, the more loopholes. I will answer one queation/suggestion. When you want to engage your FTL (since we aren't traveling from system to system) you want to travel anywhere in the known galaxy, you get there. This gives more time for, well anything you need to do, instead of pit stops, flushes, etc.

I am prepared for the inevitable rebuttal, but my response will always be the same; simple, not complicated.

Many have liked this answer, many have not. If the majority wants complicated, my system was never prepared for that, which would mean at the very least Terminal would have to replace me, ending my future ideas to keep interest.

So if it would make everyone happy for the roleplay to become incoherently complicated, the roleplay would require a complete redo in how it works, a trashing of my system, people will more than likely try to use scientific technicalities and argue with good points as to why their weapons are better.

You all figure out what you want, I'm taking a break from repetition
@Silvan Haven I love your optimism and Terminal-level technicals.
@Terminal Could you please translate what @Senor Herp said? I realize the irony where my (whether failing or pretentious) attempt at the appearance of higher etiquette or otherwise, that I am not catching everyones' 'big words.' Words I do not use, my brain tends to erase for more useful things
@Silvan Haven That was the plan, we we're only going to map out a quarter of the galaxy
@Terminal Only Wilson did
@Terminal Just speak dumb english from now on to me, plz.

We are not looking at the sun as the center. Look at our galaxy as a circle, only 1/4, a corner is known space/discovered.

I understand your issues in realism and Scientific understanding, but this does not require deep thought, we aren't growing a planet in the real, physical world. This roleplay was made to be simple so everyone was on equal and balanced terms so nearly anyone and everyone can understand it. Make it simple, not complicated.
I can't understand any of this without it being on a diagram/image. Terminal, I expect it to be somewhere similar to a rectangle for Known Space, and this isn't the milky way. That's how I imagine it anyway. AGR direct center, and I might also be centered (not next to AGR but maybe adjacent with decent distance)
