Alrighty, I made my changes and edited the app I had posted. Basically, I just kept this one mostly intact, but I took elements from my first app from the interest check. Mainly just the appearance and name of my character lol.

Jason’s home is pretty minimalistic, though that’s not all his choice. It’s a smaller place as it’s located close to a scrap yard, but luckily, he has a dedicated room with enough space to game within the universe.

You could say Jason is a mechanic or inventor within the Universe itself. He creates a plethora of objects or vehicles that one may not be able to find within a given world. Her customers are all generally commissions, such as building someone’s favorite mech to operate or something as simple as a drone from Rainbow Six Siege. He’s considered crafting weapons as well, but those are more easily farmed off respective worlds. He also will auction off some of her personal pet projects to generate revenue.

Jason is the kind of person who smirks while in danger, constantly trying to give off a confident disposition and show that he can handle what’s thrown at him. This often makes him come off as self-centered or condescending, but to him he simply has a fiery and determined spirit. Along with this, he’s fiercely competitive and willing to take a couple risks if he has to, but they first have to be calculated risks. He doesn’t like rushing headfirst into situations, instead taking a more informed approach and preferring to exploit weaknesses, but just because he prefers having information on something doesn’t mean he isn’t afraid to abandon a plan if it isn’t working. In fact, if he feels that a plan won’t work, he’ll openly voice so. And if his own plans fail, there will be a sting of frustration, but it’ll encourage him to try harder.

ʙᴀᴄᴋɢʀᴏᴜɴᴅ

Jason was the first of 4 children born into the Wright family, and he always felt a hint of responsibility growing up. His parents, while not exactly skilled or the most educated, worked in the manufacturing ring, often trading places throughout a day to help sustain themselves. During the days, his father would be gone while his mother watched after the children, and during the night, his mother would be gone at work while Jason’s father would watch them. It was all they could do to try and provide some sort of sustainable and consistent life for their children. And while they didn’t thrive, they weren’t the bottom of the barrel in terms of the lower city.

But that didn’t mean they didn’t need more help. When Jason was old enough, he was soon employed into the manufacturing ring, accompanying his mother as they would go off to work together. At first he was simply on an assembly line, but that simple experience sparked interest in him. If these machines could make stuff, why couldn’t he? On the walks back home, Jason began scavenging scrap to bring home. His mother, while overly cautious of Jason, would allow it, wondering if there was a sort of passion within her daughter that she never really had. His little crafts soon caught the attention of his supervisors when he talked about them at work, and so he was soon moved from place to place to gain experience with machines. To his employers, if they could teach a lower end individual to create, they could earn a living and cut costs by using this cheaper labor.

As years went by, and his family bought their first arc system, it was Jason that they allowed to have the first experience. And he dove right in. It was in the Universe that Jason discovered that limitations he held within real life didn’t apply to him here, and that there was a plethora of things he could create that simply weren’t possible in his current job. So whenever he had free time, he’d simply create! His first creations were pretty janky, but once he got the hang of it, he started to see if he could sell these things. And funny enough, it worked. As time would go on, his skills continued to improve and he reached a stable enough point that he quit his manufacturing jobs. Large projects require more time, but they also meant a higher pay. Eventually, he bought his own small house and a better arc system, but he still supports his family with the money he gets from the Universe.

Lux chose an avatar with more androgynous features to better conceal his identity. As such, he doesn’t mind what pronouns someone uses, nor does he correct them if it’s wrong. It helps that, when using the avatar, his becomes androgynous in nature as well.

]• Functionality: The perfect tool to counter those too reliant on technology, the IQ scanner is located on one’s wrist that, when looking through the screen, the user can see the outline of an electronic device in use, along with how far away it is up to twenty meters.

]• Functionality: An extendable shield with bulletproof glass that covers the front of the user’s body from head to toe and provides protection from common weapons from the front while leaving the back entirely exposed. This lasts for up to 5 minutes with a 12 hour cooldown.

Occupation : Jason works solely in the Universe as a weaponsmith and engineer of sorts, taking scale commissions from potential customers and making them a virtual reality. This can be small projects, such as figuring out how to craft someone’s favorite iconic sword or electronic from a game, or much larger projects such as fixing or creating an iconic vehicle or functional mech. He also does this for fun, selling his fun side-projects for a profit or keeping them for his own use.

Real Life Skills: Jason has some mechanical prowess when it comes to fixing real life vehicles or electrons, and is good at spotting flaws or minor details someone may not see or notice.

Personality:
Jason’s personality is relatively the same both inside the Universe and IRL, but there are a couple differences. To start with, Jason is the kind of guy who faces the world not with a smile, but a smirk. That is to say, he faces life with confidence in himself and his abilities, and he isn’t afraid to show it without coming off as overly arrogant. In game, he’s a lot more willing to take risks, whether that’s with difficult commissions or take a larger risk in PvP or PvE to get better materials or items, to him if you’re gonna do something, you do it by going all in everytime. In real life, he’s a bit more lax and not as big of a risk-taker. He’ll go outside his comfort zone occasionally, but that’s the exception, not the norm.

Background: Growing up in the lower ring, Jason hasn’t had it easy nor tough. As soon as he was able to, he was thrust into working at any possible job he would have time for in order to alleviate his family a bit of their stress. It wasn’t something Jason minded, though, he felt that it was likely the norm, and at least it wasn’t the Slums. And working odd jobs has it’s payoffs too, at least in his eyes. You got to work with a lot of things you’d never really think about, and it was because of these starting jobs that he soon found his talent with electronics. He would watch his superiors fix broken appliances and the like, often rushing home soon after with scrap and dumped appliances in an attempt to replicate what he saw, failing more often than not but insistent on continuing to experiment.
But that’s where the Universe would come in, it was a place where one’s imagination could run wild with ideas, and if he could get good enough, he could make anything and people would willingly want it. He just needed the determination to save up enough to get started there, and that’s exactly what he did. After he got a grasp on how the Universe worked, it wasn’t long before he was able to take commissions and quit his jobs in real life. He’d support his family his way, and it was already a step up.

Quirk: Creation!
This artifact is a timed based artifact that can only be used once every 30 minutes. It takes the shape of what looks like an energy cube that is about the size of a fist and can fit in most people’s hands. The cube can create one object of the user’s desire, so long as the object is nonliving and not in the rare or unique category. The main use is that it’s essentially free material for his creations, that way he doesn’t have to look for something specific, he can simply create it with what feels like the snap of someone’s fingers. It can also be used to manufacture things like ammo or standard armor. Based off of Momo Yaoyorozu’s ability.

So since there are a loss of items and the like, do you think there could be jobs in the Universe where someone is hired to regain lost items for a player? Or maybe some sort of item merchant where they collect various weapons, armor, etc and sell it?
Maybe some sort of mechanic or engineer who build various vehicles to sell too lol.

No, I'd assume not since, if it's based off of Ready Player One, the only thing that happens is you restart from the very beginning with no items. Like you were new to the game.
