Minister Svend Verner. Leader of the up and coming nationalist party. He holds great popular support. But the nationalist party is seen as 'trouble' by many outsiders.
Håkan Bergamun. Leader of the Communistic environmental party. The environmental side of the party is highly popular, the only reason it holds seats at all in the parliament.
Embassies: Commonwealth. Stationed in Nordahammar. (The place that's gonna be south of Northburn). Stationed in Bergaheim.
Allies and Enemies: Northburn has somewhat good relations with most. They hold no official allies nor enemies.
Government Status: Constitutional Monarchy with very little power for the monarchy.
Econonic Status: Northburnian crowns. Or "Kroner" in northern. (KR) The currency is mostly nicknamed "Bränningar" by the populace. The crown is 0.47 Yarn. The economy is a newly instated limited state intervention system which mostly focuses on shutting down drastic drops in the economy. The economy is recovering from a low-turn. Otherwise the regular people have a rather good at GDP 32.000 Yarn. which is 68085 Crowns.
Social Status: The recent economic depression has made the life in Northburn less extravagant, but basically none live in misery. The overarching majority of people in Northburn is in the middle class. The upper class however is actually more widespread in its wealth than normal. The middle class holds the majority of the votes in Northburn since every citizen holds one vote. Citizens have to be registered, and people are not born into citizenship. However, citizenship is usually granted to everyone who applies which can be done at 18 years of age. Which is also the legal age in Northburn. The school system in Northburn is highly successful and each child is taught a lot. This results in Northburns people having a high educational standard.
Military Status: The military has been lessened over the course of the economic depression, however during the 1940's several bases were built, and in the 1990's the military spending was rather high until the depression. Meaning the nations war materiel hasn't really been updated since the 90's. Compared to other nations, Northburns military is pathetic in size. The military research department is a monstrously monetarily efficient machine. Seeing several very high quality inventions prototyped with far less spending than some other nations. Northburn has high quality equipment at a reasonable cost, but little military spending so they don't have a lot of it. The Northburn military aircraft hold great quality, but few wants to buy them because of their low production rate. The northburn military defence force has a turretless tank of very high quality, it is capable of digging in by itself and has a very potent auto-loading 122mm rifled cannon. The sloped design of the tank makes it look like a wedge, which makes it highly resistant to incoming fire. The tank is not common however and its design was made in the 90's, making it superior back then, but due to 20 years without a replacement, a passable machine at best in the current years.
Military Structure: The military is a high quality and well equipped force that has their military service as their actual job. So it is what pays their salaries. The Northburn universal conscription was ended in the 2000's after a yearly drop in applications and funding since the 1960's. When the universal conscription was in effect all males of 18 years old served in the military for 8 months before returning to the general society. As it got less and less funding the amount of people actually accepted was what changed, so while everyone went to the conscription office, very few were accepted. Until the universal conscription was removed altogether.
The military is commanded by the grand commander of the army. This position is currently held by Erik Vikning. The grand commander has the chiefs of the armies branches at his command. Chief of land forces, Leif Bjure. Chief of air forces, Tord Kolm. Chief of sea forces, Berit Geter. Due to living in the northern hemisphere, Northburn is a land with a warm summer, but a harsh and cold winter. The army is therefore superiorly trained in winter conditions.
Military Deployment: The military is spread out over Northburn in their numerous hidden cave bases. And in their open training facilities. Some are out on peacekeeping duties.

As the populace grow more and more weary of the conservatives ways, they realise that something new is needed. The nationalists have a new way. The nationalist party has grown more and more popular and shortly before the new elections, they act. With a daring move which is perfectly disguised as a bus accident, Magdalena Havtorn is assassinated along with several conservatist politicians. The nationalists win the election and the populace rejoices, the nationalists immediately begin with a massive push for the rebuilding of the economy and to build better infrastructure and employs hundreds of thousands of unemployed for the construction work. The economy is improved and support for Svend Verner goes through the roof! He reinstates the universal conscription which has held a cultural place in the populace, and also raises the military spending to some extent. He also adds a purity of nationality clause to the citizenship act in secrecy, which makes it harder for immigrants to receive citizenship in Northburn. He cuts religious spending in half and puts it towards school programs focusing on national pride and a choice between military history or mechanical engineering. Trying to provide an influx of competent researchers in all fields and an even deeper nationality.
As time moves on, the economy is thriving, and the new model government is assumed. Gone is the monarchy, and the party manages to improve their might in the parliament by changing how the votes are counted. It is now basically 100% nationalist party in the parliament. It is here Svend Verner assumes the role of grand commander after falsely imprisoning Erik Vikning for treason. The official story went that it was all a grand mistake, and mr Vikning's honor is never inquestion and will be released and publicly apologized. But he is assassinated with a serum which is very hard to detect and makes it appear as heart attack. Which is generally accepted since mr Vikning was very old.
In the end, Svend manages to turn Northburn into a dictatorship. After that, the nationalist party focuses on building more industry and to increase the army. Why do they need a big army? For defense against their neighbours who don't approve of them of course. Which is something the party works hard to emulate in media.
Research is made to modernize the army, and to construct nuclear weapons. The latter in secrecy. The fleet is modernized and focuses on making strike forces with one modern battleship with several escorting vessels, with massive AA defence and highly advanced satellite guided artillery.
All in all, Northburn plans to expand. By force. If this is not wanted, just say it. I'm also gonna feel for a day or two if i really want to join. But i will be clear with my choice and will decide before play starts.

I'd say it's most logical if Geia at most have met Ha for info on artifact forging. But otherwise would not know him much more. Ha would probably most logically know of Geia and her purpose, approve, but not really know her personally. Also Ha wouldn't really bother with her i suppose since she doesn't oppose him, nor seeks him out often.
I suppose it makes sense to have a small tab with known relations between characters? Any secret opinions would of course still be secret. I think i'll add a segment for that, will be rather slim for the moment, but should grow in time.

I don't really do, and go with what i think look interesting and roll the dice. Sometimes like this one and perhaps one other it works, otherwise it's a very high crash and burn rate.

Well, seeing Andrew seems to have taken a journey atop some pink clouds to find the everlasting realm of happiness or something, it seems he's been unfocused on making the collab, so i guess it will take some time.
It could also be that he's busy with stuff, but that makes far less sense.
All in all i'm waiting for stuff. But it's not like i'm not used to waiting, usually any RP i join commit harakiri for some unexplained reason except this one, so i'm just glad it stays alive. I'm in three others as well right now (which seem dead or close enough) and three or more before those have also died while playing this one. So i'm just enjoying this one. Even if it is slow :P
