So... whose character is closes tho this in our glorious group?
@EklispeWhoops!
Probably do the same, Up my str to 6 for the 2 damage and leave it alone after that then bump the IQ for his special.
@Eklispe Yes. And you can also take an action on the way up the stairs to join the fight, if you want to.

The only problem you'll have is actions which affect the whole team, like Heretic's Minor Mutation and Rocksmith's We Will Rock You, won't affect the members of the team who aren't with you until you get back to them.

@rush99999 Just to warn you, if you decide to head off to the roof you'll be leaving the current engagement and won't be able to participate again until the others either follow you or finish the engagement without you. And I wouldn't let them use the same trick to trap the SWAT Officers a second time.

Are you sure you want to skip this engagement and lose out on the XP and gear which could be gathered from it?

Not to sound cynical, but if we stay back to beat up the swat, will the girl still be there when we are done or is it an either/or?

Also, not sure if anybody else noticed, gungirl1 dragged away gungirl2, but gungirl1 only came out of that room alone, where is the unconcious but possibly recovering gungirl2?
Doesn't the fire escape go up to the roof as well as down to the street?
Pearl was quickly growing tired of this foe and so exploded into three brutal blows. He put his bracered forearm in its mouth for it to bite down on and then punched it squarely with an uppercut to the same jaw, following it into an elbow strike to the same spot and now that his arm was already raised up, to bring the fist back down in a back knuckle upon its crown.

There is a cost to such brutality, as he transfered the energy of such blows onto himself as well, taking as much as he gave. The rivulets of life ran down his hand, but who was to say what color Atlanteans or parademons bleed? The two broke away from each other in time for the guardsman to answer the fire-breather in Simple words.

"Our enemy."

And yeah, I'm ready for next round.

I WISH!

At best we will see this:

You missed the comment about the alarm on the fire door then?

What I mean is if they drove away in an armored car at a slow and responsible speed from a back alley garage entrance, they would look more like a standard security doing their job and not two meta whackado's on a joyride.

<Snipped quote by Eklispe>
To be fair, if the armoured truck is pulling out of the garage it would still be accelerating and so wouldn't be travelling too fast, but you do make a very fair point about just how much kinetic energy even a slow moving mass of 20 tons would be able to impart on a target. At the very least it would KO him on impact, unless he handled it correctly in the narrative.

This is all presuming the Gungirls went to the garage, of course.

Speaking of which, are we all ready for me to start work on the next encounter then?

There is no way he can stop the truck, and he can't shoot out the tires (they are either solid rubber or reinforced to drive for miles) So his two options are to either weaponize himself and shoot right into the engine block, the only part the manufacturers cant reinforce. Turn into stone and angle his body like a ramp to make it flip over on one side. Or else when he gets there, see if there is any emergency pylons/partition he can raise to help slow them down even more.
Indeed.
Can I just check where each of your characters currently is in the bank? The options are:

  • Front Street
  • Back Alley
  • Garage
Approaching the garage from the front street/back alley. If there are two street entrances to the garage to pick from, then Front Street would be closer to get to from the main entrance of the bank. Back Alley exit makes more sense if they are being sneaky. But if they are stealing an armored car to escape, then they are probably ballsy enough to run out the front street entrance if there is one.

And yes, I fully expect Brick to armor up and get hit by 20 tons of steel.

Rick was as impressed that his idea worked as the hothead was. That is when he saw the other two head off to the garage and two take the high road. Since this wasn't going to be over just yet, he took his boots back off to toss them into his bag, this would help him bag more money later if he was lucky.

I'll head them off at the pass!
Rather than follow after the other two, he chose to run out of the building and make his way around to the parking garage from the outside. Too many times did the good guys get there just as the tires squeal away. If worse came to worse, he was already barefoot and ready to turn himself into the worlds biggest speed bump to stop them.
