Yeah I got the impression the command had to be so strong it basically drove everything else out, and it got in too deep to be perceived by what remained of his faculties. I think Hodoring could have been a coping mechanism rather than a direct effect as well.

Have you ever changed your mind about one of those big issues?

Recently I've gone from slightly religious to slightly agnostic. My views on freedom of speech have gotten a little less extreme. As a rough microcosm on that last one my view of cultural appropriation immediately changed when I thought for more than five seconds about it.

Further back I used to be fairly conservative simply to try to impress my Nan. Since realizing she's a bitch and that's impossible I've bounced around my natural home, the left of the spectrum. I'll probably stay on the left but never settle on an ideology to fully identify with because I'm too cynical and changeable. I think they're either too idealistic or lack conviction.

I actually have a theory semi-related to this. Not that I'm actually saying anyone is less of a man. But I think there was a study that said ass-men tend to be less confident, and boob-men more confident. My guess is that boob-men are more confident perving to womens faces, and ass-men are more covert, and that over time shapes their sexuality.

Also, you ever notice how few gay men are boob-men? I need to develop a theory to explain that one too.
