No offense intended. But there's a sweet spot on the sliding scale of realism, and most of the interest checks I usually see skew too far to the realism end for me.

Can't describe how quickly I go from excited to sad when a mecha premise turns out to be realism wankery.

There! Finally got caught up. Gregory has been introduced, and Abraham's off eating breakfast, and can be interacted with by whoever. XD
"Health inspection already?" The speaker, a tall-ish man with glasses and a mug of coffee in one hand, stood in the hall. An exaggerated sigh filled the air as he took a long sip from his coffee, rolling his eyes slightly as it sloshed about and a few drops spilled onto the floor with the latest quake. He set off walking at a brisk pace, taking another long sip from his mug. Judging from the origin of the noise, the Inspector had elected to stop in at the library first. Nothing was burning, so he supposed that he hadn't made anyone too angry yet. "Sounds like Daichi is enthusiastic as ever!"

The man's name was Gregory Stein, one of the school's vice principals. Unlike his colleagues, he had also been completely unnoticeable the day before. Truthfully, this was because he had been stuck in something of an altercation with a necromancer, a baker, and a bank the next town over, and hadn't been able to make it back until just after Dios' return (Though he had been very aware of the return; The former vice principal's presence had made his danger senses go off like crazy, and had led to another altercation with a police officer that didn't quite understand the concept of 'emergency'), and it was at that point that aforementioned officer had caught up with him. The misunderstanding had been sorted out, but it had taken a few phone calls, and several hours processing time. He had gotten a free ride to the academy and coffee out of the deal. though, so he supposed it wasn't all bad.

It did, however, mean that he hadn't reached Hikari Ryodan until roughly twenty minutes before Daichi.

He knocked on, and pushed open, Yui's door with his coffee hand, as the other was occupied with balancing the box of a dozen donuts he'd talked the police station out of on his way out. The donuts were a very necessary measure; He was, after all, a day late, and needed to ensure that he balanced that negative with a positive. Not that he was too concerned; the Headmistress tended to at least tolerate the fact that every now and again he was inconvenienced.

"Headmistress!" He greeted cheerfully, taking another sip of his coffee. "Looks like yesterday went off splendidly! Aside from some bad mojo in the afternoon, the damage of which is gone, for which I suppose we must thank our wonder Ninja Janitor. Ah, Toaster! You look well. Try not to bite the Inspector's ankles this time."

"Speaking of which, isn't it a little early for our friend Daichi? He must be very enthusiastic this year!"

Abraham, for his part, seemed rather unconcerned at the commotion as he took a seat in the cafeteria. The teenager took a bite of his breakfast, peering at the book held in his opposite hand. This process continued until the second quake, at which point he closed the book and set it down on the table.

Fury, I think this shall be an interesting school.

Did you come to that conclusion before or after the shouting toaster?
The historian's records as of Page 3 can be found on Page 14 of the OOC. The rest is pretty easy to understand, as barring Yui posts, it's largely character interaction. Well, and the lava dragon golems on Page 4.

Does he have a wife to exploit as well? :3

Poor, poor Hughes. ;-;

(but no)

@Windel: Truthfully, there's probably a bit of influence in there. I've been rewatching a few series, and Soul Eater was one of them. Plus, I'm fond of him. XD
Ha! Finally finished that Vice Principle CS. Significantly less sure of this one, but the idea stuck with me more than the other concepts did. XD

Name: Gregory Stein
Age: 327
Species: Reaper

Title: Vice Principal
History: Gregory was born three hundred and twenty seven years ago, to a family in Germany. His father had watched over the region for almost a century beforehand, eventually settling down with a local woman. He maintained his own abilities long enough to train Gregory, and then left the duties of the region to him. Gregory watched over the region for decades, long after both of his parents had passed on themselves. Eventually, he took it upon himself to become a Dawn Slayer. He excelled in his classes, and roamed the world for a time in the course of his duties. Eventually, however, he returned to Hikari Ryodan as a teacher, and later, as Vice Principal.
Personality: Incredibly cheerful and friendly, his eternally-boisterous enthusiasm a stark contrast to the Headmistress’ usual stoicism. He spends a fair bit of time, for lack of a better term, goofing off (No one really complains, as somehow all of his work is done on time anyway), and overall, tends to be the picture of nonthreatening.

In large part, this is intentional. While he is naturally all of those things, he takes great care to make sure that that is always the impression one gains of him; He learned early on that, even to some supernatural creatures, the mythology surrounding his species was terrifying. To that end, his abilities are seldom showcased, and his skills even less so. When pressed, however, he has the capacity to be outright terrifying. Since he keeps his species and abilities under wraps, there tends to be a matter of some question among the students, and some newer faculty members, exactly what he is.
Notable Skills or Abilities:
-Perception: Due to the nature of his duties, Gregory can see and perceive spirits, as well as the general nature of their origin. Additionally, he tends to be aware of if someone in the vicinity is in danger of demise.
-Weapon Manifestation: The scythe stereotypically associated with a Reaper is, in truth, a physical manifestation of their power. It can be almost anything, but for Gregory, it tends to be a pair of twin revolvers. The ammunition fired is condensed energy rather than real bullets, though he still needs to ‘reload’. Due to the nature of the projectile, he can choose between lethal, and ‘ammunition’ more like modern nonlethal countermeasures. While he technically can summon it in the form of a scythe, he is highly disdainful of the imagery associated with it, and tends not to.
-Combatant: A highly skilled shot with his revolvers, and a decent hand to hand combatant. Gregory tends to be quicker and stronger than most expect, the centuries having honed his reflexes and reaction times.
-Drain: Due to the nature of a Reaper’s natural foes, Gregory is able to steadily drain away his opponent’s energy and use it to bolster his own, making him stronger. While this is most applicable to enemies of an ethereal nature, it can be applied to living and tangible ones; When a shot from his weapon connects, if he so chooses, his opponent gets weaker with each shot.
"Easy enough. Thank you, Tai Yang." Abraham replied as the martial artist departed, headed for the direction that seemed to be where the Headmistress' office was located. He paused long enough to take a look around his location so that he would remember where he was going through when he needed to pass through later, and turned his attention once more to Deja. "Mister Yang indicated that we were to travel down the hallway to your left. I'm sure we'll be able to see the point where the path branches easily enough."

Make sure to take the right path. Your grandfather made that mistake once. It was inconvenient.

.. I have no response for that.
Hey, guys, what's u-

Windel hasn't said sign up is closed, and someone joined only a day or so ago, so I think you can. Windel's the boss, though, so I'd wait for his/her answer. XD
Sitting on the chest is insufficient.

It must be sealed with chains, multiple locks used, and then locked away in the basement behind a solid steel door. And even then, we shall have to hurry the Health Inspector out of the building before he escapes.
Yeeeeesh, I've been far busier than expected this weekend. Post is finally done, but that profile will take a little longer. Hopefully done before I sleep tonight, sometime tomorrow at the latest.
