No offense intended. But there's a sweet spot on the sliding scale of realism, and most of the interest checks I usually see skew too far to the realism end for me.

Can't describe how quickly I go from excited to sad when a mecha premise turns out to be realism wankery.

@Nekomancer: Unclear is the best way to go with it, because Kiora was technically homeschooled but not at home.I love flashbacks so that'll be clear as things go on :Palso kraykray you incessant reaper of racist roly polies you didn't add the interaction with the random hallwayDon't make me get my thugs brah

put down

"Kiora: Hallway"
Well, actually, judging by that list, there were likely two graduating classes. Well, three counting Orion, because his bio states he graduated a year ago.

So there are three seventeen year olds, one sixteen year old, and two eighteen year olds. Sounds like there were likely two graduating classes. Either that or some people skipped ahead or stayed behind. XD

Ye gawds, Kray. That's a lot of work...

Not all that much. I worked on and off for about two hours, hours that would otherwise have been spent doing nothing.

I decided to spare y'all the actual hand written web chart, because no one would have been able to read my hieroglyphics. XD

MAYBE I WILL

...

okay i actually did do it

Normal text is for interactions lasting a reasonable length.
Italics for interactions consisting of either one or two posts, or involvement in the same event, but no direct interaction.
Bold is for backstory interactions.

These are done more or less in the appearance that they first appeared in ths game, and thus, in what order they appeared on my web chart.
Grizel: Daiki
Alistair: Tirren, Arara, Addica, Kalimay, Sayuri, Morella, Daiki
Morella: Tarkus, Alistair, Tirren, Sayuri
Oliver: Casterly, Daiki
Tirren: Alistair, Morella, Kalimay
Casterly: Oliver
Arara: Alistair, Tirren, Orion
Orion: Reya, Arara
Daiki: Grizel, Oliver, Alistair
Rygar: Pascale
Addica: Kalimay, Alistair, Sayuri
Reya: Orion
Pascale: Rygar
Sayuri: Kalimay, Alistair, Addica, Morella
Tarkus: Morella
Isaac: None
Jack: Tirren, Reya, Kalimay
Kiora: None

Well, obviously Kiora and Isaac don't have any interactions yet, they just started in the last twenty four hours. Jack technically has only interacted with KK, but backstory events referenced in her opening post also provide minor links to Reya and Tirren as well. Rygar and Pascale are similarly a bit left out, because as of yet, they've only interacted with each other.
Now, applying commonalities isn't foolproof for multiple reasons, but based on my interpretation of the data, these seem to be the biggest possibilities (Note: Alistair isn't listed first out of ego, it's because he has the most links to work with. XD) Before I launch into the list, here's the "algorithm", for lack of a better word, that I'm using; The more common interactions characters have, the more they're likely to be grouped together. Normal text interactions are given the heaviest weight, italics the next, and bold the last (See above legend for the explanation of what's what.) That done, here is my analysis;

-Alistair, Addica, Sayuri, Kalimay: All have mutual interactions with each other, even though as of now, the link between Sayuri and Addica is one by association.
-Alistair, Arara, Sayuri, Kalimay: Alistair, Sayrui, and Kalimay have a high number of commonalities. Addica technically has higher commonalities than Arara, but Arara only has one normal text association, hence the reasoing behind this possibility.
-Grizel, Daiki, Oliver, Casterly: This one is one of the most logical to me. All four have relatively few commonalities, but both Oliver/Casterly and Grizel are linked by interactions with Daiki.

Those are the ones that formed logically from interactions present. The ones below are formed from interactions present in the game, and interactions that can be inferred due to backstory;

-Tirren, Morella, Tarkus, Jack: Tirren and Morella due to commonality, Morella provides the link between Tarkus and Tirren via commonality, and Jack is linked by backtory commonality with Tirren.

Now, obviously these don't cover everyone, nor do they account for Casterly's possible departure. Kiora and Isaak, notably, are left entirely in the cold, and Rygar/Pascale and Orion/Reya really don't have much commonality with anyone outside of those groups of two. Likewise this method doesn't really account for things like faunus prejudice or characterization, though those two are minimized because, well, who chooses to interact with whom is usually influenced by such.

And before you ask, yes. I was bored. Hence you got not only a list of who interacted with whom, but also my analysis of it. :P
I have a half day of school today, so if it'd be helpful I could compile a list of what characters where gravitating where in about two hours from now.

The problem with the letters and the team names is partly why I thought team names unrelated to character names would be good, but NOOOOO. XDHow's this for team match-ups, any problems with them?Isaac, Arara, Daiki, OrionSayuri, Morella, Grizel, TirrenPascale, (Unnamed Loli, prolly beginning with "N"), Addica, KioraAlistair, Casterly, Reya, JaclynOliver, Kalimay, Rygar, Tarkus

Personally, I think it'd make more sense to group up some of the people who've interacted in-game thus far (Most of characters in the game have, at one point or another, gravitated towards a few others, and if one were to trace those social circles, one could probably put teams fairly well that way. I'd check on it myself, but it leaving for school in twenty minutes.), because some of the teams seem a bit random.

Which, while probably accurate to how things would have gone down in canon if we weren't following the main characters, doesn't make as much sense here. I mean, the first five pages have more or less been everyone getting to know each other and gravitating towards different groups, so it seems like it'd make more sense to base things off of those, rather than tossing said interactions out the window when teams show up.

Just how I see it.

(Also, delayed reaction; Intus, both "Musket" and "Mistake" are hilarious)
you all passed the secret test of character that was the phrasing of that remark XD

And Alistair doesn't have a holopad; Alistair has an iPad! Which in the future becomes the tool that all the poor kids have because they can't afford holograms!
IC:

"They probably serve bagels, and you could probably get one for lunch." Alistair commented to Kalimay, before looking to his other side when Sayuri spoke up. "Hmm?"

"Oh," His eyes lit up as he remembered what she was referring to. "Truthfully, I haven't had too much time to think. I do appreciate the offer, though. My weapons are engineered fairly well, and while I'm proud of it, the assertion isn't born of pride. They do what they were meant to do nine times out of ten. Their biggest problem is that so many of the parts weren't really meant to fit together the way they do, so I have to perform maintenance constantly."

He gestured at the weapon stored with its handle to his left. "Hell here in particular has developed a bad habit of sticking if I don't perform maintenance nightly, and sometimes she does it anyway. Heaven doesn't have so many issues, mostly because she doesn't have as many complex inner workings."
Yes, by virtue of having the only technological assets to lead everyone there. XD

@Haemonculus; Why, I've no idea what you're talking about, sir. I'm no schemer.
I leave for five minutes and y'all are accusing poor innocent Alistair as out to become a pimp or steal people's harems. XD
