On topic, I think Orb'd be fun. I'm not all that fond of Earth Alliance or Zaft, since the higher ups in both turned out to be complete assholes.

No offense intended. But there's a sweet spot on the sliding scale of realism, and most of the interest checks I usually see skew too far to the realism end for me.

I think that I might be interested in this.
I'd personally be in favor of using Orb as the protagonist faction, but I think this could be fun regardless of choice.

I'm really sorry I've been absent, school quarter wrapped up last week and a wide range of obligations both real life and internet have been strangling both my time and desire to post for a bit. I'm working on compiling the collab Kaithas and I were working on, and I'll be posting that ASAP.
I'd really rather not see this die, and now that my time's beginning to free up again, I'd be glad to do whatever I could to help keep it going.

Kichirou, Road to Village with Ichiko
Kichirou raised an eyebrow slightly, almost imperceptibly so. He'd heard quite a few strange things he'd obtained permission to wander, but a casual reference to "Celestial Bureaucracy" was a new one. Kage apparently agreed, as the feline cocked his head slightly, still studying the woman intently. But, it was of little consequence. She was, at least, headed in the same direction, and walking with someone would make a nice change of pace.
"Fair enough, miss." He paused, thinking a moment. "You wouldn't be familiar with what is occurring in this area by any chance, would you? I've heard a bit, but I've yet to encounter someone who could tell me anything solid."

This seems interesting. I'm interested, assuming I have time. Tomorrow is the first day of the fourth academic quarter for me, so as long as I'm not too busy, I think I'd like to take part.

He regarded Ichiko quietly for a moment; She was probably about the same age as him, based on her appearance. She didn't seem to be carrying any obvious weapons, but especially in this day and age, it could be reasonably assumed that she had at least a small blade somewhere. She didn't seem to be hostile, though perhaps a bit wary. Understandable. All in all, not an immediate danger.
"I'm Kichirou, miss. And there's no need to bow. I'm a long way from home." He paused, glancing down the road. "Are you headed to the next village, by any chance?"
