@Banana I like the idea of mana pots. Only make so that you have to actually drink them (Unless you decide to put some sort of mana injecting device in there). You're not going to be front line in the combat anyway. And yeah, drop a staff or two. Possibly the one which summons an UFO. Or change that one. It's weird.

Nothing against the concept of a half-elf rolling with the monsters, but be aware that you might find various NPCs who will be hostile towards you. Kinda like a monster in a regular setting.

CS wise, he seems to hold some powerful stuff. I would probably need to either be toned down or have limited uses (either being per day or needing some recharge source)

I'm up for anything that will balance him. I'm not sure on how you see your character, but I've always seen this race as more focused on the psionic side, so I'd gimp a bit his physical abilities and have better psionic skills. Maybe taking control over a deficient body during it's ceremorphosis?

I'm obviously not going to dictate which should be your take on your character, I'm just stating what would be my take.

Anyway, as long as you are not way above the average power level of the group, I'm fine with whatever.

EDIT: Answering your question: yes, that would probably work. Just try to not murder the concept you have of your own character.

Psionic powers are magic in everything except it's name. And despite those pesky details, Ulitharids are a powerhouse. Skeletons have a Challenge Rate of 1/3 (although our Irate one could possibly reach a solid 2), just as orcs. Ogres have a CR of 3. Ulitharids have a CR of 12. It's just way above the intended level of the players for this RP.

Playing one is fine as long as he's watered down by quite a bit. And this should be coupled with a very consistent RP to ensure the character doesn't spirals out of control.

With those problems aside, I wanna see what you come up with.

Dude, Ulitharids are really powerful beings. Much more than it's expected from the characters on this RP. I won't mind having one, but unless he's severely gimped, like being unable to fully control his magic abilities or having them backfiring ocasionally, he'd just become a powerhouse of his own with some flaws when it came to social interactions.

I'd take it a bit easier and have more of a watered down character. Otherwise you might have a slightly increased chance of accidentally finding one of these:

Those are legit D&D monsters by the way.

To not completely ruin the fantasy of the race, I'd water down a bit of his magic power (not too much, just a bit for the sake of fairness) and completely gimp his physical prowess. We could really have some magic users and I'd be exited to have a creature that is worshipped as a god by it's race, but is socially awkward. Could lead to some interesting interactions.

Yep! Feel free to put your CS in the OOC whenever you want. The IC is coming up in about an hour or so, but as many of the confirmed players haven't put their CS'es up yet there is no rush.

Just be sure to not come up with anything extremely over powered and we're good.
