I do want atleast three detectives and a death note before we start though, I will play as a detective if it comes down to it

I also want to mention that anybody who accepts the eyes will eventually die in this rp, I have my own system of deciding when and don't worry it won't happen soon but you did give away half your current lifespan

accepted, first death note secured, I would like to note that only you use the death note, not the shinigami, it can but usually for it's own needs. They don't favor you in any way, they are simply stuck with you until you die

Hey Guys this is a Death Note Rp and I decided to make a whole new universe that uses the same concept, in other words, no canon whatsoever. The idea is that Shinigami or Gods of Death have somehow acquired a second death note and has decided to give it to a human, only a human that touches a Shinigami's Death Note can see that Shinigami and that one alone. Any name that you write on the paper from these books will die within forty seconds of completing their entry but you must have their face in your head while writing their names so others with the same name will not die. They will die of heart attack unless a cause of death is written within forty seconds of writing the name, the details of their death should follow within 6 minutes and forty seconds. You can also give up half of your current lifespan to get Shinigami eyes, these allow you to see anyone's name and lifespan just by looking at them, although you can not see another Death Notes lifespan. Now there will be only 3 Death Note Users at most, and a squad of detectives to stop them. You can play as one of theses death notes, somebody trying to stop the death notes, or a human that is interacting with all this mess without having a foothold on either side.

No, I know. This is a bit too small for a tabletop rpg and has a system I control that doesn't really fit a regular roleplay, I was just hoping some people would be interested.
