"Aye, but do you think any will be ready for me?" Jace said as he tugged on his uniform. "God, I can't wait to get out of this thing and back into my armor. It's so uncomfortable." He watched as the airship came into view and started to descend. Thinking about the boring ass speech from last year, Jace couldn't help but feel sorry for the students. The only thing interesting about that whole ride was the video and watching that girl's head get caved in. This year was even worse though, he had to stand here for god knows how long and just wait and then he had to keep a young nuts-for-brains first year in line. As well as keep the other Reds from seriously injuring one of them. This year is going to be just fucking perfect.

Crap, truant officer. "Or maybe not, you may be new but I'm expected at school. If I get caught, then it will be my third offense with the cops which gets you jailed until your parents come and get you. And if I get jailed the school will kick me out. Come on, into this back alley." Great, now I have to use my pause to get out of here and reveal my powers to Penny. Well at least I know she won't get in trouble.

Quill ran into the back alley pulling Penny along. As he entered the alley, Quill activated his powers and started to walk away when he looked back and noticed that Penny wasn't frozen. Wait, what? Was it I was because I was touching her or... something else? Having no time to explain, he grabbed Penny and got out of range of the cop before ending his powers. "Look, don't ask. Let's just do what we planned. Please?"

Eswin

Eswin froze for a second due to still being in range of Quill's powers but it would only appear as a slight spacing out to Nova. Eswin took the notebook and thought for a moment. As he thought, he couldn't help but quick-sketch a picture of Nova in the library window holding a blue butterfly that was half-grayed. This had given him an idea and as he finished he began to write below the picture, Mind if I follow your feet too then. I like to draw my surroundings. He passed the notebook back to her, hoping she wouldn't mind the drawing of her.
