So it was a toy. It was quite obvious judging from the wolf's eager tail-wagging, but the master's confirmation made Felix smile with relief. He tossed the ball to the other side of the shop lightly. "There, Yang." It was his first time meeting a wolf that didn't want to kill him. Instead, she wanted to play with him. He found it very soothing, especially after his distance-wise short yet treacherous journey from Riverwood.

Mistletoe tried to pick the lock while Derrick talked about his past. The lockpicking attempts were, just as expected, entirely futile. Nevertheless slightly disappointed, she stepped back from the door, the little stick still in her hand. Derrick's narrative was a short one of friends parting ways. It was surely not a heroic epic, but still managed to touch her in a curiously subtle way.

"Did you find something?" Kenza's enquiry pulled Mistletoe from wistful reminiscence abruptly. It appeared the werewolf made a crack in the door frame area when it slammed the door. Kenza promptly slipped a wooden stick towards Derrick. Mistletoe's story could wait - it had to wait. The sudden discovery of the (literal) opening to freedom cleared her storytelling mood completely, and brought her usual hunter self back. She moved closer to where Derrick's cell was and waited, silently and perhaps eagerly.

Posting order sounds good - I'm in.

The wolf proved very friendly, licking Felix's hand and wagging her tail, perhaps even more so than most dogs. She then walked away then came back immediately, dropping a ball of string at his feet.

"A ball of... string?" He murmured unconsciously. Is it a toy? Should I do something with it? He was confused, as he didn't have much experience dealing with pets. As the Khajiit and Valrona made a deal, he decided it would be best to simply pick it up and wait for the elf. Meanwhile he continued petting Yang absent-mindedly.

While Mistletoe was organising her mind, combing through memories and such, Kenza stepped back from the door. She evidently just failed to pick the lock with a stick, frowning and giving another to Mistletoe. With the tiny wooden stick in hand Mistletoe walked to the door. Meanwhile Kenza spoke about her past a bit, then asked Derrick to share his very own story.

Mistletoe decided to listen to Derrick before she tells her back story. She carefully inserted the stick into the lock hole. She didn't think it would work, since she had almost no experience with lockpicking whatsoever.

Sorry I thought Derrick was going to speak - Kenza asked about him. I guess I'll make a quick post then.

David continued to watch silently the ice cream drama around his table. The little imp-waiter served an abnormally huge pile of ice cream, for which Kric was to pay. As the suddenly deep-in-debt imp was complaining, the waiter darted off, posting a few advertisements. An extermination team for snails, huh. David thought it would be a good idea to get more familiar with his magical ability, since he had not been using it a lot when still alive.

"Excuse me. Enjoy your ice cream." He said with flawless manners, then proceeded to look for Zzubus in the kitchen.
Good thing I didn't write too much about Mistletoe's background. I can make something up while Kenza is trying to get the door open ;)

"Thanks, I didn't notice." Mistletoe responded to her ironically easy breaking-free from the wall. "I can use a bow, no problem. Can't guarantee hundred percent performance, but routine shootings should be fine." She said while getting up with Kenza's help. "The door? It looks quite sturdy, but it won't hurt." That's better than doing nothing and waiting for Wolfwing to release them anyway.

"Why did you two get into monster hunting?" Derrick asked, presumably bored. "You don't have to tell me anything if you don't want to, I'm just a little curious." That was an interesting question. Despite being actually rather kind to friends, Mistletoe had always been a lone wolf who preferred not to talk too much about herself. This time, though, she wanted to share her story with Kenza and Derrick. There might not be another chance anymore.

"It all began when I was ten." Mistletoe took a deep breath and started telling her story, the first time in her whole life.

"I don't know lockpicking either." Mistletoe gave a short negative. "Are those pieces of wood hard? Maybe we can use them to provide leverage and break the chain somehow?" The chain had quite a few weak links that might be exploited. She picked up a piece of thick stick, but her arms were chained and couldn't move freely. "Could you try? My arms couldn't turn." She asked Kenza.
