I thought it was already resolved, I mean they didn't respond after I commented, so I figured they just gave up.

Also they tossed insults first, by the way. Blatant unfounded accusations of trolling is an insult in my book, so. . .Why are we discussing this?

Pffftch, it's no dish man. I just got out of another RP where this guy became a huge piss baby the moment I capitalized on one of the rules to punch his super special character, quit the roleplay in its entirety. I did shortly after, but for a separate reason. But this RP is still more pleasant than that one was.

Seriously, arguments every other day. Discourse after discourse, OP characters constantly arguing about who's more OP.

I honestly just hope this RP lasts, I have yet to finish an RP on this site.

Of course Emphatic isn't going to be easy to deal with. In no realistic situation is everyone going to be easy to cooperate with. In no realistic situation is every character going to just look at an idea and say "I agree with everything and every single aspect of this thought." Sometimes a character has to disagree, if nobody disagrees with the way things are going, then everyone is at the mercy of the person they're agreeing with.

Emphatic is an ex soldier, spent most of his adult life in the Air Force, he knows how chain of command works. And in every branch of the military there's this thing called "Duty to Disobey Unjust Orders."

That translates to: If something about what you're doing is wrong morally, religiously, or ethically. You are to disobey it, question it, and report it.

In real life the same rule applies, and the same rule would apply to a League of Heroes. Emphatic realizes that not every would be hero is going to have control of their powers, and he's well aware that other people might disagree with his perspective. But different perspectives on a topic is how you get an objective view on a situation, rather than a subjective view. Where you witness it in third person.

I didn't make Emphatic to troll people, don't know where you got that idea, and I don't know where you got the idea of a long list of problems with him. But Emphatic is designed to be a genuine person, not just a character with powers. I put a bit of passion and creativity in him, and to be honest, that you don't see it is a bit upsetting.

He hasn't even used any sound powers other than flying. A sonic boom would certainly knock people ajar when they're not expecting it, but nothing he's done so far would seriously damage even a normal human. He just flew in really quickly. Emphatic isn't going to go around blasting people's eardrums out willy nilly for no reason. He's not a monster. The earplug crack was just a joke and an observation about how it could be a problem because people's ears are sensitive. Besides, the volume is proximity based. Doppler effect, yo.

Next time you host an RP, I'll join in. I'm leaving this one, turns out Emphatic isn't a big enough word for Loud. Because it was totally misunderstood that he's loud.
