Arena Chat Thread

I noticed a ton of inconsistencies with plotlines, as well, I noticed quite a few of the older ones were fucking boring compared to the newer ones. Some of them were broken, others are totally useless.

So I'm doing three things:
1: Rewriting backstories and storylines to have more consistent connections with other characters.
2: Removing certain characters who are too similar to other characters that I have.
3: Taking concepts from removed characters and adapting them to other characters.

I'll probably lose 20-30 characters, but the characters that I have left will be better off.

Rewriting all of these character sheets is going to be a miserable bitch. I've been writing since earlier today, the first post in my Character Deposit will be full with all of the posted character's sheets later on tonight. But right now, it's barely half done.

SO I'M GONNA PROCRASTINATE!

In reply to the Tournament question, about locking in characters.

In single-tier tournaments; You should be locked into a character, unless everyone has multiple characters, then you pick one at the beginning of the round.

In multi-tier tournaments; You should either have a character that transcends multiple tiers, or multiple characters that you pick from at the beginning of the round.

Yeah, I deleted the character sheet that I had posted and left the RP. That was one of the biggest problems, I removed my character sheet so trying to prove it would have been problematic.

I brought it up with the GM of the roleplay, who let it pass because there were enough differences between the characters for it to not be a rip-off. I never brought it up with a mod because I felt like it would just fall on deaf ears.

My problems always tend to fall on deaf ears, so if I can't solve a problem on my own, I tend to just let things be.

So after voicing my complaints, I just let it be.

I'm probably gonna create a small character deposit of my Arena characters. Though, I have qualms with having my shit in a public place. A guy ripped off one of my characters literally right in front of my eyes on this website, that's why I'm so hesitant about it.
