Bio

"If you kill a man, you scorn his wife. If you kill his wife, you scorn her child. If you kill her child, you scorn his village. If you kill his village, you scorn the kingdom. If you kill the kingdom you scorn an empire. If you kill an empire, then who is left?"

At 100 feet distance?
Handgun? You're going to get hit.
Semi-Automatic? You're going to be riddled with bullets.
Fully-Automatic? You're going to die.

At 50 feet distance?
Handgun? Easy enough. Might get clipped.
Semi-Automatic? You're going to get hit, but they're not going to chew through you before you reach them.
Fully-Automatic? You're going to be riddled with bullets, whether or not that kills you depends on what you are. As well, it depends on how well they can deal with the recoil of a fully automatic weapon, because that exists for normal humans.

At 10 feet distance?
Handgun? You won't even get shot.
Semi-Automatic? Might get clipped.
Fully-Automatic? You're going to get hit, but they're not going to chew through you before you reach them.
I strongly stand my ground on that point, mainly due to the writing styles that I've witnessed on this site and others. Anyone with abilities past those of human, can close the gap between them and a marksman quick enough that the usefulness of marksmen comes into question immediately.

As well, unless they're getting shot in the head on the very first turn of the fight. Which would be a low down, scumbag thing to do. No Supherhuman melee fighter is going to instantly die from a bullet wound either. Hindered, maybe, but die? Hell to the no.

Hell, a human can take more than one bullet and keep kicking. Bullets aren't a guaranteed instant kill even in real life. Guns aren't these all powerful sticks of death that everyone makes them out to be.
This applies to anyone above human levels, period.

Most characters in the Arena are basically immune to bullets.

Be it by movement speed, durability, precognitive movement, so on and so forth.

Basically, guns are worthless, and the argument that they need to be regulated is totally moot.

Considering that guns are very limited in what they can do.

Even if they have a bottomless clip, they can only fire at a certain speed. They can only travel in a straight line with a slight decay. They can only hit with so much force.

Guns don't kill people in the Arena.

People kill people in the Arena.
Through the snow, a silhouette emerged slowly. A familiar form, a shape that always put a smile on Pikatok's face. It was the holder of the bestial keys, and seeker of the others. Pikatok disagreed with the keys, they shouldn't be used as such idle playthings for its holders. Some of the holders were respectable, however, Pikatok did not find Kei'Taro respectable. Nor did she respect his father, though that was something she would never voice. Not out of fear of the Beast King, she doesn't fear him in the slightest, she just wouldn't say it out loud. A lady doesn't want to be considered rude.

The thought made her laugh, she wasn't very ladylike.

When the figure approached the seat, she hopped down to the ground below. Snow crunching beneath her feet as her weight dropped onto it. The same question that he always asked, a question he knew the answer to but insisted on asking anyway. 'Please let me through.' And the answer was always the same. "You know the rules, Kei'Taro. I can't allow you to pass unless you prove your worth." The words left her mouth with a certain thickness to them, her accent sounding as though her tongue was pressed against the back of her throat at all times.

She paused for a moment as she repositioned herself between him and the gates, making a visible effort to posture herself squarely and sturdily. In case he tried a sucker punch. "The rules never change, Kei'Taro." Her eyes cast directly into Kei'Taro's, staring into him with a furious glare. "But you do."

After a very short pause, she continued her thoughts. "What keys have you taken this time? How many more than the last?" A noticable scowl adorning her cheeks, deepened further by the shadow cast by her hood. "Were they taken by force? Or willfully granted?"
Hey uh, what happens if your opponent doesn't make a first post?

Versus!

Emmanuel Orbis; The Fleet Spark, High General of Samuel.
Two misconceptions:

Pikatok is currently 35, she is only old when she's in her full power form.
By "Big enough to fit her and two others." I meant, it's the chair of a giant. Not that there were two others with her.
Okay cool, got the first post up. Placed the setting, placed the time, placed the weather. We're good to go.
