Reading over it, your formatting could use a bit of work.
The Stilts are removable, they're a specific add on for specific terrain. Otherwise it's just a normal suit of armor. They give more ground and a more imposing form to whoever is wearing it. It also allows for farther view range.
I actually designed a suit of power armor for LeeRoy's super soldiers. It's on stilts that end in large flat feet, they allow for movement on the softest terrain, despite the great weight of the equipment they carry.
The perspective is wonk because I'm a shitty artist, but you get the idea.
Also, about the topic of weight.
Just because YOU can lift 100k tons, doesn't mean the GROUND can. If the weight is higher than what the ground can take then you're going to fucking sink. Never forget that when writing.

Name any magic spell and I can come up with a piece of technology that would equal the same power without the added physical exhaustion.
Charging technology depends on what weapons you're using, once I get LeeRoy re-equipped and his ship repaired you'll see how charging weapons works.

Explaining how it works takes a long time, but I'll do my best to summarize it.
Erde's entirety is the core, that is the only thinking and feeling part of his body.
Erde's body is made up of earth, this is a protective layer that gives him a medium to interact with the outside world. He does not feel anything that happens to it. This is a puppet that bends to his will, I suppose a magical connection would be the explanation for it. It moves like a liquid or a solid depending on how he controls it. Otherwise it's just a puppet form that is not living.
